This gorgeous cabin is in a private wooded setting, but SUPER easy to get to with paved road just off the highway 5/515. We are literally 1.4 miles from the heart of downtown Blue Ridge and the property sits on a private 1.5 acre tree filled lot with thick vegetation surroundings. There are no other homes in view.

We have paid close attention to detail and included the creature comforts you would expect from a higher end cabin rental. You will find luxury linens, supple leather seating, sprawling across the large main floor living area with the second bedroom and open loft above opening to the stacked stone fireplace.

Mountain Hideaway is over 1700 square feet of quality built cabin. It is perfect for families or a couple’s getaway with a loved one or your group of friends up to eight. All TV`s are equipped with Cable television channels. The upstairs master has two brand new queen log pillow top beds and a 32` flat screen TV with built-in DVD player. There is a loft with a brand new full-size futon for extra sleeping. The downstairs bedroom has a brand new king log pillow top bed with a TV and has a full bath. There is a 40`` HD flat screen TV in the Living room. The cabin has a level lot and two driveways, so there is plenty of parking for your Boat or RV. YES, We have a coffee maker in our fully equipped kitchen for you! Mindy is a certified chef, so we always have a well-stocked kitchen in our homes.

Our cabin is just a few miles from everyone`s favorite apple picking spots and farms like Mercier`s Orchard, and 2 minutes from trailheads. The Appalachian Trail is a short drive away if you want a grand challenge.

If you are traveling with a pet: We do allow one DOG under 40lbs if you disclose that they will be coming with you to the cabin. Our Pet fee is $65 for your entire stay. We provide a crate/kennel for you to use when you are leaving the cabin. PLEASE do not leave your pet loose in our home while you are out! NO CATS allowed as we are allergic. Have a registered service animal? Please submit your registration card.

Full run of the cabin and grounds. The basement is locked off for our supplies and storage.

I live and work close by the property so we will not likely meet unless an emergency arises.

Paved road right up to our driveway provides easy access for all cars. We even have an EV electric vehicle charging post at our cabin!

Our base price is for two guests with the ability to serve up to Six for a very reasonable additional cost. It is only $25 per guest per night additional cost which is reflected in your total quote. We price our property to be affordable for all party sizes while accounting for additional wear and cleaning required which we bear. Thank you for staying with us.

1. SMOKING- is allowed outside only. Please pick up all butts and use an ashtray.
2. VISITORS - People other than those in the Guest party set forth in your reservation may not stay overnight in the property. Any other persons in the property and their actions are the sole responsibility of the registered guest.
3. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the primacies.
4. PETS (DOG ONLY) - Cats are NOT allowed. We are highly allergic! One, 40 lbs. max. dog is allowed. Please keep your dog off the furniture and beds. Our Pet fee is $65 for your entire stay. We provide a crate/kennel for you to use when you are leaving the cabin. NEVER leave your pet loose in our home while you are out! All pets (dog) are to be crated when you leave the cabin. IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE A DOG AND IT IS NOT LISTED ON THE LEASE THE UNAUTHORIZED OCCUPANCY OF PETS WHERE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION AND LOSS OF ALL RENTS AND SECURITY DEPOSITS!
5. FURNISHINGS - Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Do not rearrange or abuse furniture or other fixtures. Furnishings are subject to change without notice. Under no circumstances are furniture, bedding, mattress pads, utensils or any other property supplied with the rental property to be taken out or transferred from one property to another (will result in a charge against Guest(s) security deposit). Moving of furniture is prohibited; any evidence of such will result in a charge against Guest(s) security deposit. Loss of these items, as well as damage to the property or furnishings in excess of normal wear will be charged to Guest(s), the renter. Certain areas in each rental property are locked for the OWNERS personal storage and are not included in this rental.
6. APPLIANCES - Only use appliances for their intended use.
7. FIREPLACE - The fireplace should not be used from May - October. No other open flames allowed in the cabin. (candles, lighters, incense)
8. FIREWOOD – Firewood for the EXTERIOR firepit is not provided for you but may be purchased locally at every grocer or roadside stand. DO NOT LEAVE CABIN WITH A FIRE GOING IN THE FIREPIT.
9. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - No drinking of alcoholic beverages by persons under the legal age of twenty-one (21) is allowed. Should a Guest(s) or guest of Guest(s) be arrested for underage drinking at the rental unit property or should Owner(s) observe a Guest(s) or guest of Guest(s) under the age of 21 drinking alcoholic beverages, this rental agreement may be terminated and the Guests evicted at the option of the Owner(s). Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited. Kegs are not permitted on the property.
10. HOT TUB USE - No children under the age of 18 without adult supervision! When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Temperature should not be set over 100° for children. Use at your own risk. DO NOT STAND or SIT ON THE HOT TUB COVER! Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you will be charged for the replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave the cover on so the hot tub will stay warm.
11. EXTRA HOT TUB CLEANING - Hot Tubs have been cleaned prior to your arrival. There will be a $75.00 charge imposed if guest(s) require an additional cleaning of the Hot Tub after Guest(s) stay.
12. LINEN - A basic supply of linen is provided in each property. Bed linen and bath towels are not changed during your stay.
13. WEATHER - If there is inclement weather, no refunds will be given for storms unless roads are declared impassable by state and local authorities. We do not refund due to other lesser road conditions. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, note that mountain roads can be very hazardous so take the utmost care while driving.
