The Iron Forge is a beautiful modern cabin that sits on a wooded 1 1/2-acre lot. SPECTACULAR MOUNTAIN, SUNSRISE, AND SUNSET VIEWS 4 BEDRM/3.5 BATH 2 MASTER SUITES 3 FIREPLACES 2 ENTERTAINMENT DECKS 2 MILES TO DOWNTOWN BLUE RIDGE WIFI 4 PARKING SPOTS The location of The Iron Forge is unrivaled! Take in the peace and quiet In a private, gated community with only four other well kept cabins. If you're looking for adventure, take the quick 5-minute trip to downtown Blue Ridge, Lake Blue Ridge, or Aska Adventure Area. There aren't many cabins in the region that provide this level of seclusion and views while being so close to the downtown Blue Ridge. You won't be disappointed. The Iron Forge's layout will be loved by all! Your breath will be taken away by the main level. Just inside the front door is the stunning, completely stocked kitchen with custom cabinetry, countertops, and appliance. Enjoy meals at the huge kitchen island, which seats four people, or the eight-person dining table. The living area is directly after the kitchen, which has a big floor to ceiling rock fireplace with a custom steel mantle. Enjoy mountain views from nearly every vantage point on this floor thanks to the large doors and windows. Slide open the glass doors to access the main level deck with outdoor seating, dining, a gas grill, and another massive custom wood burning fireplace, slide open the glass doors. The views from here are breathtaking! Off one side of the living area is the master suite with a king bed. The beautiful walk-in shower and unique soaker tub can be found in the attached bathroom. Off the opposite side of the living area is the second bedroom, which also has a king bed. The second bedroom and kitchen both have access to the huge bathroom with a walk-in shower. The Iron Forge's lower level is just as beautiful as the main level. A comfortable "work from home space" with a workstation that can fit three people is located at the bottom of the stairs. The Double Queen Bedroom is exceptionally decorated and has direct access to the lower-level deck. Past the Queen bedroom is the entertainment area, which includes a pool table, board games, a TV, and a gas fireplace. This area also has a laundry room and a half bathroom. The lower-level master suite with king bed has an incredible attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The lower-level deck is also easily accessible from this bedroom. The lower-level deck features a brand-new hot tub and two seating areas, perfect for unwinding after a long day. We are excellent at providing prompt responses to questions and concerns. The process of checking in is very simple. A door code will be sent to you the day before check-in. There's no need to meet someone to get keys! There is an exterior camera on the front of the cabin. The camera does not view any private areas, Please understand that we do everything we can to ensure there are no mechanical issues with any amenities during your stay. We can't control when equipment/things malfunction or break, If the fireplace, hot tub, washer, dryer, etc. malfunctions or breaks during your stay, notify us immediately and we will handle the issue as quickly as possible. Brock and Kim were very prompt in their responses and helpful when needed. We made great use of all the house had to offer, we loved the fireplace and the hot tub and were able to utilize the kitchen often to make a few meals in. The kitchen was equipped with nearly every utensil and tool you would need. Our only negative experience was since the driveway is on a hill and gravel, we did end up getting stuck and needed to call a tow truck, but really we should’ve been more careful (Brock and Kim did warn us of this prior!). All of the switches were labeled and the kitchen cabinets and drawers are labeled, so you’re not constantly flipping light switches and trying to find stuff in the kitchen. The indoor and outdoor living areas are just perfect. It was cold when we arrived, but we did get to open up the large sliding doors our last night. It is minutes away from downtown, but you get the quiet and the beautiful views. Thanks again for a wonderful house and a wonderful stay. ##### Rachel H. It was in a convenient location, easy to get to, and 5 minutes from the Main Street area. The decor and details throughout the house are beautiful and give the home a cozy feel. I seriously admired the area rugs, blankets, bedding, vases, and artwork (so much so that I felt I needed this decorator to come to my own house). The kids were so happy to be there and our family bonded and made so many memories. We spent the most time on the balcony with the fireplace and television (morning coffee & March madness games). The owners have done an amazing job with this house. Brock was very communicative and shared so many helpful tips. I can not think of a single flaw. Staying at the Iron Forge makes us already want to return to Blue Ridge just to spend more time at this beautiful cabin! ##### Maite H. Everything was very clean. The indoor/outdoor space, fireplaces, and TV set up is a game changer (especially while watching March Madness with family). The Iron Forge was nothing short of AMAZING! I’ve stayed in several rental properties and this one has been the BEST by far! We loved everything about it and we are looking forward to getting back as soon as we can. The amount of detail that Brock and Kim put into the space were exceptionally well-thought out.
