Enjoy nature at its finest while relaxing in this three story secluded, pet-friendly, true log cabin with all the modern amenities. Huge fire pit area & spacious deck with a picnic table. The Getaway is the perfect mountain retreat that meets the needs of all guests with its warm & friendly cabin lodge decor, huge hot tub on one of the two screened porches, wide screen TVs in Rec Rm, Fam Rm, Master BR, DVD player, board games & outdoor basketball hoop. Other amenities include a 8' pool table, wood burning stove, gas log fireplace & free WIFi. The private downstairs Game Room gives the young adults the privacy to play the night away, listen to music, watch TV or relax in the hot tub while enjoying the sounds of nature.

Antler Ridge Getaway : The cabin is approximately 2,100 ft. in elevation near the top of Laurel Ridge Mountain in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The road up the mountain (about 1 mile to the cabin) is gravel with some steep parts. Standard vehicles can drive up the mountain, but it can be easier with 4WD.
The bedrooms are spacious with queen beds on the main level & upper open loft, and a king bed in the upstairs master. One full bath is located on the main level across from the queen bedroom and the other on the upper level between the master bedroom and the loft area. The Rec Room offers a trundle bed (2 twins) with memory foam mattresses. The Getaway is on a no hunt/ no shoot mountain so wildlife abounds. The deer and wild turkey love to stop and watch as guests relax by the fire pit or on the decks.

The cabin is equipped with safety features, including a deadbolt smart lock with keypad for easy, contactless check-in. Security cameras offer coverage of the front door and outdoor patio/parking areas.

The Getaway is on 2.5 plus acres, secluded and is not in a gated community, nor do you have close neighbors, yet you do not feel totally isolated. The Benton MacKaye Trail, which connects to the Appalachian Trail, is also a short walk from the cabin. A mountain stream is at the foot of our mountain and run along the Benton MacKaye Trail. Downtown Blue Ridge, with its wonderful shops and antiquing, is about 6 miles away and features Blue Grass bands performing on the square throughout the year, carriage rides and a Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. Downtown Ellijay is about 10 minutes away.

Great Cabin
The cabin was great. It was very clean. The set up was nice. There was plenty of space and outdoor seating. My family enjoyed the hot tube. The only downfall was the distance up the mountain. If your afraid of heights than you may want someone to drive up the mountain for you. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I would rent here again.

Fantastic location with great views!
We had a wonderful weekend getaway with our two young boys. There are a lot of fun things to do in Blue Ridge that is very close to the house. The house has excellent mountain views with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Cozy cabin in the woods
Cozy cabin. Nice view. Kept warm with a nice toasty fire in the fireplace in the living room. Pool table was fun (little tight on space but still enjoyable) Hot tub was fantastic for the chilly February mountain air. Drive up was exciting! Zero issues in 4WD but we drove up during a giant storm so it’s tough to gauge the actual conditions of the road.

Beautiful, Comfortable, and Clean!
My family of five, two adults and three kids under 8, really enjoyed our weekend stay in the mountains. The cabin is beautiful and super clean. The kids enjoyed playing pool and using the hot tub. From the hot tub and back porch you have a beautiful view of the blue ridge mountains. The drive up to the cabin from the highway is about a mile and could be daunting at times for us Florida folk, but the kids enjoyed it. Drove a 2WD SUV with no real issues. The host was great and she responded to any questions quickly and with understanding. If we return to Blue Ridge we will definitely be booking here again.
