The cabin had so many thoughtful touches we loved. There were chocolate bars, marshmallows and graham crackers for s’mores. There was also a wonderful well stocked coffee bar that was very nice.The view of the lake was nice and being able to go down to the bank of the water was beautiful. The host was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this booking.

Great getaway

My husband and I enjoyed getting away from work and the kids so we could reconnect and recharge for the New Year. The cabin provided everything we needed and the location was fantastic and close by Top of The Rock and Dogwood Canyon. We absolutely adore Missouri and this area never disappoints no matter the time of year.

You can’t beat the location. The cabin was so beautiful. Secluded, gorgeous, hot tub was so nice. We would come back in a heartbeat. The host was exceedingly accommodating (especially since we left an important item behind and needed to retrieve it). Couldn’t ask for better assistance with that. This was what we were looking for. We wanted rural and quiet and it is what we got!The property was clean and equipped with everything we needed, including coffee, sugar and cooking spray!The s’mores bar was a sweet treat too!We walked the few yards to the lake shore and too photos and just sat and enjoyed the quiet.I drive my car and had no issues getting to the location. You will see many deer walking around, at least we did.It was a great stay with friendly and kind owners!

11/10 for a Honeymoon getaway!!!

We're newlyweds & in the beginning we weren't even planning on going on a honeymoon. Both 35 yrs old & havnt been on a actual vacation since our teens.Started talking a few months back on a honeymoon & stumbled across this cabin kind of by accident. Within 24 hrs we had booked a whole week away & didn't even know what we were doing haha.This place blew our expectations completely out of the water!The minute we walked in we were greeted with the most cozy/warm welcoming ever. From the rustic feel to the cute decor, it is just perfect.It almost felt unreal for how cute, neat, clean, & just perfect the cabin is. You couldn't paint a more perfect picture than what this place truly is. We enjoyed it all, Sitting in front of the fireplace with a cup of coffee in the morning, relaxing on the deck just admiring mother nature, walking down to the lake & watching the ducks, geese, deer, squirl, & we had a pair of bald eagles. It felt like heaven along the lake. The hot tub is beyond a added bonus. 5 nights out of six we relaxed in the tub for countless hours. One during rain even. Talk about pure relaxation & zero worries. The cabin offers absolutely everything you will need and then some. It truly was a home away from home. I could ramble about this place for hours.It really is heaven on earth. We cannot say thank you enough for sharing your special place with us. The memories made will forever last a lifetime.
