The staff at the restaurant, front desk, and housekeeping were so incredibly nice and helpful as I was moving my son into college. The grounds are stunning with a wonderful feeling of relaxation. I can’t wait to stay there again.

Room could really use some touch ups, but it is an older hotel. It was mostly clean, tho there was some garbage behind the nightstand that had been there for a while. The rest of the property was great! Love the pool and restaurants overlooking the lake. Pool itself was very clean and I really like that you could swim into the sun or stay inside.

We enjoyed our visit to Fourwinds. I specifically came for the pool and was not disappointed. I Iike to do deep water exercise in the sunshine and it is hard to find a deep outdoor pool. The pool is medium sized but has a 6ft deep area perfect for treading- no lap swim space. The pool area was clean and nicely landscaped. The amazing retractable roof remains open until October depending on the weather - the pool then remains open as an indoor pool. very nice. Room 240 where we stayed looked newly renovated. This basic room had two comfortable double beds. The room was very clean and quiet. The park view was of forest and road.

I was leary because it was so inexpensive but thrilled when my 12 year old son and I checked in. The property is beautiful and everyone is so nice. We ended up staying another extra night. We will be back and definitely rent a boat.

We booked through Expedia and thought we were getting a room with a balcony and garden view, instead we ended up with no balcony and a parking lot view. We asked the front desk and they said all balcony rooms were reserved. The Fourwinds Beach was not as shown in the Expedia pictures. There were no beach lounge chairs as in the Expedia pictures. The breakfast buffet was okay, I liked it but it was nothing special. I did really like the Wind Jammer Grille the service was great, and the food was really good. We had mozzarella sticks, fish tacos, fries, battered fish and onion rings. I would go back if I knew I could get a balcony. It was a relaxing weekend sitting out on the patio by the Wind Jammer Grille, people watching and seeing the boats coming in and out of the marina.

Bar closed early (9pm). Over 1/2 hour wait for dinner seating. Beach closed due to lake water level. Carpet in room needed more vacuum cleaning. Bathroom ceiling water stained. Front desk did not know if there were lake tours. Housekeeping didn’t make up room and ran out of towels. Park view meant parking lot view. Nicely redone pool, and lovely view of lake marina from restaurant and pool. Great blackout curtains. Quiet room. Water pressure and temperature were great. Friendly front desk.

Half of our group said they didn't have hot water, but maybe they didn't wait long enough for it to heat up. We have a few people with dietary restrictions (gluten-free, etc.), so it would have been nice if there had been a breakfast option other than bread or cereal or if the restaurant had been open. The view of the lake was beautiful, and we all appreciated that. The stay was excellent when you consider the price we paid for 4 rooms for two nights.

Nice location right on the water. Had restaurant over looking the water, food nothing to brag about but ok. Reasons for a 3 rating, the beds were short like camper beds. I'm 5'10" and unless my head was next to the headboard my feet were hanging off the end of the bed. Had little square pillows. Went to shower in the morning and bathroom floor was wet, had water dripping from ceiling. A/C unit was very loud when it kicked in, not normal , they switched us to a new room because of the water leak and new room had A/C with normal sound level. Asked for early check in, about 1 1/2 hour and it was $35 charge.
