They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! When we booked the Gîte, we didn’t realize the place has camping and glamping sites, too. We look forward to going back in the warmer months to try them out. It’s in a quiet setting with great views. There’s a hiking trail on the property which winds through the really pretty fields and woods they have. Since it was wintertime, we didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice. The Gîte was perfect - they’ve thought of everything, and the bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever been on. There’s a lot to do around the area and Limoge is only 20 minutes away. If I could give them more than 5 stars for communication, I would. They were so wonderful with directions and pointing out where restaurants, bakeries, other nearby villages, etc… were before and during the visit. We will definitely go back. ##### Lee S.
