Nice family getaway

Nice quaint little cabin perfect for our little family getaway. Pretty views, enjoyed the hot tub and indoor fireplace. Great place for cozy family time. We enjoyed it and would come back to stay again.

The greatest cabin in blairsville

We have stayed at the Grandma moose at least four times. It’s our favorite! The hot tub and fire pit are excellent additions to the property.

It had everything we were looking for, so beautiful, loved the decor & of course the hot tub was amazing ! It sure felt good after a day of walking the trails to the waterfalls ! Would definitely come back. The only thing I did not like was the road getting to the cabin . Needs to be fixed too rough . Also it's close to town and restaurants.

Cozy get away

Very cute and cozy cabin. The back porch with the mountain views is very nice. It is nice to bring the dog and have a fenced area in the back!

Lovely place to stay

Clean, great views, comfortable place to stay. It had everything we needed! Only issue was the hot tub wasn’t hot but we never reported it so it could be addressed. We would definitely stay here again!!

Older furnishings, but amazing space, location, view and stellar hottub

I cannot same more awful things about the property management company, Vacasa, but this cabin was lovely and is located in a great location with one of the nicest hottubs and the best view. Loved that the hottub was steps from the inside and not a yard away and loved the ease of access off the main road, but still remote feeling. Furnishings are dated, and it was not cleaned as it should be, but we did have a lovely stay.

The road to the cabin was very uneven , bumpy, and had multiple pot holes. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and the view is beautiful.

Everything was great but I would not describe the kitchen as fully stocked. Had to buy a muffin tin at the dollar general. Everything else was good!

Cozy cabin

The cabin was very clean and smelled clean. It was decorated very cute and homey. The back porch and hot tub were out of this world. We had no issues at all with the hot tub. My husband spent lots of time just soaking on the porch and looking at the mountains. The view was wonderful. The fenced in back yard would be perfect for anyone taking their pet. The beds slept really nicely so we felt well rested every morning. There was no dishwasher so just know that and the dish towels are very limited. Had a great peaceful stay and would highly recommend.

A secluded cabin with a great hot tub on the deck

Overall the property was what we expected - comfortable, secure, and quiet. If we were disappointed it related to the furnishings in the kitchen - 3 coffee cups, unmatched flatware, a mis-mash of glasses and dishes that had not been thoroughly cleaned by a previous tenant. BUT - I do like to cook and intend to make myself at home when traveling. Most folks probably wouldn't have an issue. The space was good for this trip. Would I return - hard to say.

Cabin in the Woods

Cute cabin in the woods, very clean. Upstairs bedroom has a queen And main floor has a king. 2 full bathrooms, one each floor. One tv in the family area, no tvs in bedrooms. Lots of dresser and closet space, but limited hangers. Beautiful view out the back deck. Fenced area for pet exercise. Grill worked great. Comfortable rockers on the porch. Full Refridgerator and microwave. Lots of small and xlarge cookware but nothing medium. Metal cookware but only 1 glass dish for microwaving: cereal bowls were microwave safe. Plenty of plates, glasses and silverware. Also wine glasses! No household items like windex, and no spices, oil, or other cooking condiments. There was salt, but no pepper, sugar, coffee, tea or creamer. No basics. Aluminum foil was available and we added plastic wrap. The kitchen could be better stocked. Convenient parking out front: Road to the property was gravel with serious potholes. Winery with bistro within walking distance.

Shame no one checked the grill.

1st we had a very relaxing stay. Although the were a number of small issues we were fine until we came to use the grill. One burner was totally broken making it unsafe and unusable. Called Vacasa at 2.30pm but no one could come out that day so had to just use the broiler, not the same. This left us very concerned as all our meals for the next 7 days were things to cook on the grill. Fortunately, we did get a new grill in time to cook dinner the next day. We were lucky that it was just the two of us, as there wasn't full dinner service or silverware for 4, one teaspoon! Bathroom light didn't work, upstairs b/room door didn't latch and 1 of the dogs kept getting in but couldn't get out. Night light in bathroom needed a new bulb, saucepan selection poor 1 small 1 large nothing in between, Bathroom door veneer peeling off, had to watch dog as it was very tempting, As I say we had a great stay and only the grill was a big issue, everything else we could live with, but you did ask. Oh, dogs loved the fenced in yard, can't believe this is not mentioned in the property info. All the checkout instructions said to load the dish washer and turn it on, we spent all 9 days looking for it but I guess it had been stolen along with the DVD player. Also one instruction said strip the bed where another says don't strip the bed, also the max temp for hot tub is different depending on where you read. It appears many of the instructions were generic not specific to the property.

The hot tub was not clean and smelled but once we reported it the local service came that day and cleaned it. We did have a broken lamp they did not fix or replace. But overall the place was clean, very comfortable, and we really enjoyed sitting on the back deck early morning and evening.Our dog was happy and enjoyed going for walks in the area,
