The bathrooms were clean with the exception of a “used” washcloth. The kitchen was not clean. The kitchen table was sticky and visibly dirty. The toaster was greasy and dusty. The stove hadn’t been wiped down. The countertops were sticky and dusty. The inside of the refrigerator appeared clean. The freezer, however was not. There was frozen dried blood in the bottom of the freezer. Bugs were in the windowsills. Called Vacassa and they sent a housekeeper out to clean. She was quick and thorough. She replaced towels and washcloths and provided additional toilet paper and paper towels. The home included a recreation room equipped with pool table, hot tub, and sitting area. There were board games available as well. This is a nice home that could use some TLC, as well as organizing. Altogether it ended up being a nice stay. Warning: very steep grades, poor internet. There was a high pitch sound in the main level bedroom. It would have been impossible to stay in that room. Since it was just me, it was no big deal. I just moved to the upstairs.
