Clean quiet and modern rooms. They had undercover parking. Was offered clean towels each day.

There was no buffet breakfast as advertised but a continental breaky tray brought each night to the room for next morning except 2 nights they forgot and had to ask for it next morning...though the breakfast was quite good and large for a continental. Just dont like paying for something I 2as supposed to receive. My room had very dirty stained carpet but everything else was clean. The floor boards creaked in a particular area and very noisy. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Rude female staff member at check in... wasn’t happy to help with basic instatuctions..

No wifi which was advertised.
Very average room and to top it off o caught a guy trying to steal gear out of my ute.
Planting one on his chin and watching his eyes roll was the only highlight of the experience.

my Accommodation was not available as there were a communication breakdown between wotif & Blackwater Hotel
The room had mice was filthy and dusty
The buffet breakfast was cold even though I tried it several different times
Missed servicing my room twice
And on my last night turned up at my door at nine pm with a continental breakfast as there was no hot breakfast the next day I’ve stayed in better accomodation on remote mines
Turned up on the day. Make booking 2 weeks earlier. Whole place locked up and not answering ph. Had to book elsewhere. Don’t take bookings if your closed!!!
It is sad when the nicest thing you can write about a motel is that the shower was great! Room was very basic with badly stained carpet, only one chair despite the room accommodating three people, and the first (and lingering) impression was that despite it being one of the most expensive motels I stayed in while I was away, it was the least appealing. The reception area was more suitable for an automotive workshop than a motel, and unfortunately that left me expecting that the room would be terrible. - and that expectation was correct. Staff were friendly, the shower was really good, but the rest got a big thumbs down from me.
Stayed for the night for work. Noisy nightclub attached, next to train line (railway street, duh). Bed on wheels makes for a fun time on hard floor. Sitting on bed means you roll across the room. All in all, not terrible, just did not have a restful time.
Although the main train line is across the road/highway, I could not hear either the trains nor the traffic in the room.

Disappointing 2nd time around
Stayed previously and the value for money, staff were all good and that is why I went back. On this last occasion I was disappointed to see that they now charged an extra $28 for another person staying in a double room. Would not stay again for that reason and the staff not very helpful on the day of departure...............

Overall experience adequate, breakfast was crap.
Overall the staff were all very helpful, friendly. The accommodation was adequate and the evening meals were very tasty. The exception to the experience was the morning meal and the manner of the breakfast cook. Breakfast was on both days a disappointment with the food being cold, poorly cooked and of a lesser quality than most camps in the area. It appeared some food had been reserved from previous meals Further more the cook is quite rude and has very poor customer service. I would suggest placing this individual on a performance improvement plan, offering retraining or if this has already occurred / does not improve the quality of their service suggesting the individual move on. I simply could not recommend this business to other people from this experience.
If you don't like getting up early I would suggest don't take a job as a breakfast cook.

alongside the main road
Dusty on the outside, but that's to be expected when alongside main highway & railway line.
Cleaners only just started cleaning room when I arrived at 2pm. So I had to go for a drive & come back 30 minutes later.
Otherwise all good.
Facilities: Everyday; Value: Economical; Service: Good, Courteous; Cleanliness: Clean;
It may mostly cater for the mining industry, but for visitors to the area it was very basic.
