Blackhawk Golf Club

The room was huge and clean. There was a kitchen area with a god size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a dishwasher. It had a couch, a nice desk, and a big TV. The bathroom was modern and had a large shower stall. The breakfast was decent and had a fair number of things to choose from. Overall, I was very happy with the room and the hotel. The hotel is across the street from the West Edmonton Mall so there are many dinner options over there and things to do, especially for kids.

Nice that great shops and restaurants are at your doorstep but very noisy with all the clubs and party life on Whyte at night. I would not recommend staying here if you suffer from any kind of sleep disorder.

No hot water for the evening - it was slightly lukewarm. Wife could not take a bath. Did not know I also had to pay an $25 per day for parking. The $25 adjacent Parkade was so old and so small that the Honda minivan could barely clear the ceiling. Good thing I did not take my truck and when we parked the spots were so small that either I had to crawl across to the passenger side to get out or had to stop in the middle of Parkade to let everybody out. Honestly, staff are very nice. They’re trying hard, but this place should’ve been demolished 20 years ago or the price should be 1/2 of what they are charging. Honestly, I would never stay here again. The value proposition is terrible.
