Listen to the small waterfalls from silver creek into the pond. Cabin has amazing views and hiking trails into the national forest and we can’t wait to have you here. Be advised, cellphone service is very limited with most carriers and we do have wifi. Rainbow trout have just been refilled for the year and the owner feeds them daily, it’s such a great experience to watch them. They were getting all over us and in every room. We had no phone service or internet to contact anyone. We left the home at about 1130 pm to find a hotel, had to drive for an hour to find a vacancy. The owner refuses to give us a full refund or even 1 1/2 days, he kept saying he could have taken care of the problem if we had notified him. We did not even know he was the owner per the posting he was a neighbor. He just kept trying to convince us it was our responsibility to contact him and we could of stayed. Small cabin is surrounded by a clear swift creek filled with a multitude of farmed trout just waiting to be fed every morning and evening. Pleasant cosy deck on the creek; perfect for feeding the fish, grilling a burger or steak. Just kicking back and enjoying the surroundings works well, too. John, the owner (and builder) is very pleasant and interesting . John is also helpful and accommodating. There are many adventures to be had all along the shores of Lake Huron.
