We had a great time staying at this house. The house was very clean and very well maintained. We loved being able to bring our dogs, and the porch was amazing!
We enjoyed our stay in Black Mountain! Conveniently located near downtown this home is neat, clean, spacious and perfect for a group of friends to hang out and hang enjoy a long weekend in the mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Customer service was fantastic and responsive. Amenities were wonderful and exactly as described. We hiked to Catawba Falls which was a really quick drive to the trail head and was one of the most gorgeous falls I've seen. The location from Asheville is also not a long drive if you're wanting to go to the Biltmore, Grove Park Inn, or downtown Asheville. Would definitely stay here again!

My family recently stayed @ 29 Tudor way for a memorial service for my brother. We were very pleased when we arrived. The unit was exceptionally clean, and it provided us with a quiet place to gather as a family and was in close distance to many amenities. It was our first time traveling to North carolina and we enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was always available to answer any questions we had and were very kind and courteous
This house is simply comfortable and close to downtown Black Mountain, Montreat, and Asheville. The property was well-maintained and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the back porch and fire table/pit. Hosts were communicative. Definitely recommend!
Super clean. Very responsive with a few questions we had even during off hours. TV area furniture could be more comfy/cozy for two families watching a movie. Was lovely to have it be pet friendly.
The capacity of this property and its proximity to Black Mountain and Asheville were perfect for us. The home is new and very well stocked. The AvantStay team reached out early and were very responsive when I had questions. Check in and check out were incredibly simple and efficient. It made for a very enjoyable and stress free vacation.
We were a group of 4 adults and a four-year-old. We enjoyed the wonderful gathering areas around the fire pit on the port with great view of fall colors and inside by the fireplace. Everything was very clean. The only negative was that there was barely room for two cars to park despite being a 4 bedroom house.
Great place for a long weekend with friends or family
This is a great house. Well organized, well stocked, we had everything we needed. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice living room and kitchen. The porch was a very pleasant gathering place. I wouldn't change anything.
The location worked great for us. Getting to the central part of the town of Black Mountain was quick and easy, as was access to the highway to travel over to Asheville.
Everything was spotless. Upon arrival we were so excited to see the snacks, ball cap and tote bag. The home felt like our home for the time we were there. All conveniences were included. The location was perfect for visiting Biltmore, Black Mountain and Mount Mitchell. It was just lovely.
The house was exactly as described/photographed. Spotless and comfortable. Communication was quick and clear and check-in & access to the house was a breeze.
(Maybe another cozy loveseat would be a nice addition in the living room for family movie nights. 😊)

Cute & clean four bedroom & three bathroom house. It was stocked with many items that most of my past VRBO experiences didn't offer, i.e., enough coffee, tea, sugar, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning products for our entire stay.
House is very close to downtown shops. Only real challenge was the limited parking at house. There are only two parking spaces, and you're not allowed to park on the neighborhood streets.
Everything was very clean and well stocked.
Porch was very nice to hangout on.
Location is close to downtown and we braved the neighborhood hills and biked to dinner our first night there to MyFather's Pizza.
Unfortunately we had to leave earlier than expected but we will look into booking again the next time we visit WNC.
The only downside is parking...we had 2 trucks between our family of 4 and another family of 3 that stayed for part of the week. The driveway is small and difficult to pull in & out of. There was no covered place to store our mountain bikes, and I think a garage was advertised. We just locked them together under the porch.
It is pet friendly but there is no fenced in yard, so if you bring your dogs (we didn't, just noted), be prepared to leash and walk them in the green (common?) space behind the house.
Overall a great property for families! We recommend it!
I’ve stayed in a lot of BnB/VRBOs over the years, and this house was top five in cleanliness and quality. Great looking hardwood floors throughout, and granite countertops in the kitchen and all bathrooms. Three bathrooms, and two had tiled, walk in showers with double vanities. Plenty for closet space, and side tables by the beds. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast each morning. Great quality appliances. The back porch is screened in with a fire table and plenty of seating. Also had a grill outside if needed. There’s no yard at all, but a large field behind the house that belongs to a church.
The only cons that people should be aware of:
This house sleeps 10 people, but there is only seating for 4 in the living room. 6 can fit at the dinner table, but there are 4 barstools at the island. The comfort level in the living room is maybe a 3 out of 10. Really needs a living room tune up. Be aware that there is only parking for 2. The driveway is tiny, but the is standard for this entire neighborhood. A third car May be able to park down the street, but not close by the house. Other than some very minor cosmetic things, this house was fantastic and 5 stars. Communication with the management company is iffy, but they did answer.
