Very nice and thoroughly updated older home. Extremely convenient to town. Our family enjoyed our weekend there. The television/entertainment room is outstanding. Liz, the owner, was extremely helpful and very prompt.

We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The house was clean, comfortable, and well appointed.The house was a comfortable size for our group of 9. The floor plan makes very efficient use of the space. Hallways, entryways, and stairwell are a little on the smaller side. The TV room has a very long couch that fits at least 5 comfortably. There is a nice fenced side/front yard with ample seating on the front porch and more around the fire pit. It is a renovated old house. The floors are a bit creaky and uneven in spots and our bedroom door stuck a bit. There is a very nice full bath in the first floor master and another upstairs. The upstairs bathroom door squeaks quite loudly. The downstairs also has a half bath in one room and a room with just a shower across the hall. One thing I think should be addressed is the guardrail around the stairwell in the hall upstairs. I'm assuming it's original to the house, but it feels too low (guessing about 30" high?). There are larger gaps in the railing design that have been addressed by attaching a slightly flexible clear plastic guard. The kids in our family are all older, but I might feel a bit nervous about it if I had a rambunctious younger child. There are baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs.I'm rating this highly because the house was overall very nice, the hosts seem conscientious and were responsive and accommodating. I think this is a new listing so they may still be working out a few kinks.
