This is a very new house in a neighborhood still being built up. I’m sure it hasn’t been offered for rent very long.
For the most part it was nice and well appointed. Loved the bottle of Biltmore wine at check in. Appliances all worked. Kitchen was adequately stocked.
We were a family of 6 staying 4 nights. We ran out of toilet paper on day 2. Which is to say, the bathrooms did not start with full rolls and there were no back up rolls available at the house. That was inconvenient, but not difficult to remedy.
The ceiling fans all have remotes, which is fine and normal these days. Unfortunately, all of the fan remotes for the entire house run on the same frequency, so turning on the light for one fan turned on every fan light in the entire place. That was annoying.
The big issue with this house, though, is that the drain in the master shower was close to non-functional. Taking a shower involved standing in 2 inches+ of soap scummy water. Kinda gross.
If the shower issue gets addressed, I would rent this place again. It’s walking distance to downtown Black Mountain and the neighborhood felt very safe.
