"the area is very peaceful and scenic. excellent place to see all that the rhineland has to offer. lots of places to walk and castle/berg's to visit. spent 2 weeks travelling and resting and didn't want to leave.Stairs to bedrooms a bit tricky to start with. i would recommend and stay again. "This place is HUGE! So many rooms and beds, very spacious and clean. Plenty of parking, multiple bathrooms...lots of towels, champagne upon arrival, great communication. 100% recommend if in this area. We were only 4 people but it can handle so many more!"

"The most peaceful setting we have ever stayed in with total privacy. The house has all you could need ...both inside and the garden area. "This is a quiet, comfortable house in a stunning, untouristy location. Lucienne is very nice and helpful. There are lots of great walks, on the doorstep and a short drive away. Don't miss Castle Falkenstein! We went to Wissembourg, Strasbourg and the Maginot line fort Schoenenbourg (which you can visit without a guided tour, unlike Four A Chaux, which by the way doesn't offer English language tours). Having the pool table is fun. We enjoyed our stay."

"The best gite we’ve stayed in, with lots of lovely small touches. If we were really picky the pool could be a touch bigger, and there would be seating outside rather than on a covered terrace (which was hot in the heatwave we experienced). But this place comes highly recommended! The wine couldn’t be more local, and the owners Richard and Monique and their family can’t do enough for you!"
