"I was not given the room I had reserved 2 months in advance(reserved Feb 8, check-in the April 22nd, checkout April 26th). The room we were given was absolutely filthy. Dust, crumbs and garbage under both beds as well as the frames/boxsprings being broken. Gatherings of hair and food crumbs in the coners and along the walls. Ramen noodles and silly string behind the main door. Soda spray on the wall and light fixture above the sink. Stuff leaking out from the exposed side of the extremely loud heater/fan unit. The inside of the coffee maker was disgusting. The sliding door going out to the "balcony" had been previously broken and a piece of metal was screwed into the frame to "keep it from opening" but was still able to open and not secure. We asked about their dry cleaning service and were directed to a flyer taped on a desk that was in spanish(?) the phone number did not work. No ironing board in the room. Our cards to enter the room had to be "recharged" atleast 4 times, the batteries in the card reader on the door had to be replaced, the door itself stuck when trying to enter or exit the room (we were told that it was going to fixed on day 2 but it was not). There was no phone provided in our room. The hotel had what seemed like minimal directions at the hallways intersections which caused us to get lost mant times in the first 2 days. The reviews were better at the time I made the reservation but things obviously went downhill by the time we arrived for our stay. "

"Room was great, quiet too (including hester/a/c). The morning staff was excellent, the check-in guy was a bit off. Nice but a little rough around edges of words. The breakfast wasnt worth staying for us but they did offer a bunch. Bed was SO comfortable, the soaps were really nice too. Would definitely stay here again, definitely worth the money. "

"I’ve stayed here a few times in the past but this time I was disappointed in a few things. If breakfast is served until 9:30 then there should be food until 9:30. On Sunday morning they ran out of almost everything before 8:45. Only a few pieces of bread were left. Aldo the shampoo/conditioner etc were out. I had to tell them 3 times before they got refilled. The vent in the bathroom had clumps of dust. They need to shop vac it. And some sketchy people hanging around back and by the back entrance where we were parked.positives were staff was friendly and the jacuzzi was nice and open late. "

"The room was horrible i stuck to the floor there were noodles in the bathroom sink. There was hair in the sinks and all over the floor. There was sticky stuff all over the handles and the floor that was some weird color. There was even crumbs in the bed when i pulled the blankets down. I asked to speak to the mannager and he never did get a hold of me in 3 days, and i still have not heard from him/her. The guy that got me a different room did jis best but i had to take a room where people held a door open with a rock and and stood in the hallway talking. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. AND I AM NOT EVEN SURE THAT WAS BREAKFAST THEY WERE SERVING."

"Its an old hotel that they are renovating. But I have used it for many times in past years."

"This place is wonderful.!! This neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Hardwood floors. This was my perfect solution to my needing a quiet place to sleep during the day and somewhere I could participate in an overnight seminar for 3 days. One bed is memory foam the other is a bit bouncier. Both beds were very clean and pristinely made up. Closets are a descent size and hangers provided and extra bedding. Oh and don't forget there is a laundry room!! The couch has two recliner ends and is quite comfortable to lie down on to chill or even sleep. I had an Instacart delivery and grabbed a few more things at WM along the way. The kitchen is simple and has basic supplies even icetrays in the freezer. Bath is clean and quaint. The toilet is a tall/elongated that is a nice luxury. All said and done I will be back in the future, maybe for my next overnight virtual seminar."

"Pros: quirky, vintage home close to everything that had everything we needed. Allowed us to check in early. Parking spot near the front door. Host was responsive at first. Cons: quirky vintage home without closets to hang clothes (small armoires would solve this) or place to put your suitcase. All beds are hard. And the most annoying - not providing a shelf for shampoo, etc for the shower. Very easy to put one on the wall at the back end of the tub. This suggestion was made years ago. Having to put it on the toilet is not a good option. I was surprised host didn't respond when I texted that there were nails protruding from the ceiling in the stairwell that a taller person could hit their head on. "
