Great wee cottage, clean and had well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome touches with cookies and milk etc.Location lovely- we got caught out with takeaway being cash only and cash machine being out of order but the cottage was great.Had a great few days, wish we had booked for longer.

The cottage was of a good standard and very comfortable.

The cottage was of a good standard and very comfortable. . It was advertised as dog friendly, however there were several restrictions, no toileting in the ‘garden’ no going upstairs, no jumping on furniture (despite it being wipeable vinyl) it is impossible to watch a dog overnight when you are sleeping upstairs and they are downstairs. We were there during a cold spell of weather and were unable to get the log fire going when the heating was off. Fuel had to be purchased by the guests. It would be an ideal break in the summer months, if you were happy to sit out on the front patio, which is not secure. The 5 bar gate is easy for pets to get through unless they were very large dogs. There was no rear access from the property.
