As amateur astronomers traveling to Texas for the solar eclipse, we decided to rent this Star Gazer's HIdeway to view the heavens through our telescope. The location is about 12 miles west of Bisbee, with plenty of dark skies. The inside was immaculate, and the outside area was perfect, too. Coming back after a dinner in Bisbee, when we opened the gate, we saw seven deer within about 20 feet of the building. The next morning, while eating at the breakfast bar, we saw a doe about 50 feet away. There were also numerous quail nearby. We loved the place and would certainly rent it again, if we ever returned to the area. We only have two complaints, 1. The floor creaks and, if one guest is sleeping, it would be hard not to wake them while moving through the house. 2. The day bed is very uncomfortable for sleeping. Perhaps, it might be ok for a small child, but I don't think any adult would fine it comfortable. All in all, though, this was an excellent location for someone wanting to get away and enjoy the night sky.

Clean, remote tiny home
Very clean remote tiny home located 1.2 miles off the blacktop over a rocky dirt road. While we were there overnight temps got down to 35 degrees Fahrenheit but the little window HVAC unit could not keep the tiny home heated. Worse, the couple of thin blankets provided for guests were not enough to keep warm. Small hot water tank allows only one person to take a hot shower at a time without waiting for tank to heat more water.
