Don’t be fooled by the Laura Ashley soft furnishings, it is trying to mask an old hotel that’s been painted, and not very well.
Old, drafty windows, heating in room 14 via 2 plug in radiators, no heating in bathroom, holes in bathroom door, hook hanging off the back of the door, and the list goes on. My stay was when there was no hot water one evening. It was fixed, but not a great welcome.
Then basic things like the stair carpet was filthy with dirt that could be swept up.
Finally, they’d run out of bacon at breakfast. Again, a small thing, but just not what I would expect from a £130 a night Laura Ashley hotel.
Would not recommend at all.
