Very clean, beautiful hotel and staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the area! Will definitely stay here again! Bed was extremely comfortable! Breakfast caters for everyone and you just help yourself😁

Good location for central Birmingham. Our room had a broken flush that was fixed later on the afternoon we reported it. The room had an odd musty smell that we couldnt place. It made everything smell horrible! Room overall was a good size. Breakfast was ok, food range good but nothing special.

Got stuck in the lift, it was dirty and full of cleaning equipment. No water bottle in room which is pretty standard for hotels. Just poor all round apart from the breakfast which was half decent.

Only stayed one night as attending work function. Staff very friendly. Rooms spacious clean and well appointed. Location was great being near station, tram and shops.... that said, it was still quiet with no disturbance from outside. If i return to Birmingham will be booking here again

Completely overrated hotel
Heating in the room doesn't work properly. We have never been so cold in hotel room before. Had to turn the heating up to 32 degrees Celsius just to get it to start to produce some heat and even then it wasn't until the following morning (on our second night) that we finally got the room to a lukewarm temperature but still not comfortable by any means. We even had to fill the bath with hot water and leave the bathroom door open and close the other door to keep the bedroom warm enough so we could sleep. We chose hotel based on location and good hygiene rating. The location was good but not great and hygiene I really just don't see it. There were bogeys on the wall by the kitchen/entrance area and bathroom towels are placed almost touching the bathroom bin so I used one of my t shirts as a towel. Food was okay but my word... the lack of space. People charging past and moving chairs around because not enough room. Horrible start to your morning. On Sunday, I could not face going down to breakfast again especially after my partner said it was even worse that day! Not a nice stay really.

Worst hotel in the uk
Staff stole my air pods and blocked my email address so as not to provide a response, clowns at reception keep stating it is being investigated. The place is noisy, terrible food and dirty, looking at most of the clientele it is being used as a half way house and refugee accommodation. Avoid at all costs

Great value hotel in the centre of Birmingham. Large space including a kitchenette. Standard fittings are high quality. No weird smells. Bed was large and comfortable. Large selection of choice at the free buffet breakfast. Staff were pleasant and caring.

Great Hotel - LOUD Partying
Everything was great except for the insane partying young ladies in the next room. There were only two of them, but we thought there were 12 in there. They were that loud and out of control. Both about 18. Asked the management to get them to be quiet and they started to beat on the walls and scream insults. Management offered us a new room, but why should we pack up and move because we behave properly? They would not move the girls. It was pretty awful.

Great hotel, just check the air-conditioner!
Great welcome and lovely room. The only problem we had was that the air-conditioning in our room did not work. We were on the 12th floor and it was not possible to open the windows so you need the air-conditioner to work properly. When we arrived it appeared to be working as it was making a noise and when we got back to our room at the end of the day it seemed hot so we just turned the temperature control down when we went to bed thinking that it would bring the temperature in the room down but instead the room became more like a sauna overnight. We both had a very restless night made worse by a very thick duvet. Eventually my husband went down to reception at about 3-4am to see if we could have another room. It really was unbearable! Unfortunately the hotel was booked out. The two very helpful staff explained that they could adjust the temperature on their computer as it obviously was not working properly in the room. This worked well and we were able to get some sleep. We wish we had gone down earlier! The staff were incredibly helpful. We just wanted to make other guests aware that if there is a problem with the air-conditioning, the very helpful reception staff can adjust the temperature on their computer. We would definitely stay again as it is a great location, great rooms and a lovely buffet breakfast.
