Sign and entrance was confusing to find since was bought out and being remodeled. We arrived at 330 po and was given a room where a man was outside drilling into our wall! We had to ask for another room to hear TV. Dumb on the staff options for early bookings.

Needs updating terribly. Beds have divots where others have slept. Shower water pressure is great, but too fast for the drain, so I had to keep turning the water off in order for the tub to drain or I'd be standing ankle deep in suds. Air conditioner is a window unit. The carpet was actually sticky. Granted I went to breakfast 15 minutes before closing, but the eggs were inedible. They were over cooked and crusted around the edge of the hotel pan and sausage links were shriveled and overly browned. Pancake/waffle maker was out of order. Judging by the scaffolding out front, renovations are coming and not a moment too soon! Saving grace was the desk staff. Friendly and professional.

We checked in, first room, our key wouldn’t work. Second key, we were sent to a room where someone was already staying in. Finally got a room on our 3rd try. The pool was closed all weekend. We were out from 7am. Got back to room at 10pm. Our room was not made up. I inquired at the front desk and was told daily housekeeping is optional and has to be requested. The parking lot is a mess with reno equipment thrown everywhere on the ground. I was told some money would be taken off the final bill and wasn’t when I checked out. The lady at the front desk said nothing could be done.

The room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived to the room. The front desk was very apologetic and the cleaning staff went and started cleaning it. The lady who was over the breakfast was very nice, she keep the area very clean and kept everything well stock. She greeted everyone as we entered😃.

The hotel is under renovations, but clean and maintained well. The staff was efficient not overly friendly but they were polite. One of the problems were the noise from above us, we couldn't decide if it was kids running or horses? It's was both nights until about 3am. We could also hear continuous loud talking all night. The TV also did not have continuous service, it would lose signal about every 30 minutes, we assumed it was due to the construction. We did not say anything to the front desk about either issue to be fair, we just didn't feel it would be well received. Even with these two issues it was good for the price

We were told breakfast close at 10:00. We walked in the breakfast area at 9:00 and the young lady said the hot bar was closed and only cereal, toast, and waffles were left. We had to go buy breakfast 😡

Both the night woman and the morning man were super helpful and friendly. The night woman went above and beyond being helpful and kind. That made a huge difference! The rooms were older and there was a slight mildew smell but the beds were extremely comfortable. It wasn’t fancy but it was clean and comfortable and safe and that’s all we needed.
