There was a shopping center next door to the property - about a 5 minute walk and there was a lot of dining options there if you didn't want to eat in the hotel. We visited during Ramadan and the very popular Ramadan buffet was held every evening and the cafe was very crowded. It is an old hotel and the bathroom is a little dated with the shower in the bath tub and it is a slight challenge to get to the shower if you have some mobility issues. There is no non slip bath mat provided so you need to take care when climbing out of the bath tub.
