1st day I stayed in room 2211 the aircon is not functioning well. I asked to transfer to room 2506 but the TV condition is rather poor and shower area is floated

purely business-oriented hotel, dirty cups
The rooms are basic and pretty small, your usual business hotel Walls are thin and you can hear the neighbouring room opening and closing doors/taking shower. The room clearly needs maintenance and cleaning. They gave only two sachets of (2) sugar and creamer, and provide a price list for more. What is really unacceptable is the cups are dirty and stained brown. Its attached to a dead mall and not within easy walking distance of anything interesting Stayed only for a night, I would not recommend.

I find it really rude that the housekeeping staff won't stop ringing the bell while I sleep until I turn on the do not disturb light. Please stop this practice. Your cafe staff is terrible and slow with only 3 tables occupied

Like that the hotel is new, rooms are big and the junior suite is comfortable. I dislike the steps leading up to the main entrance and the fact that the bell boy or concierge merely hang back and watch you struggle with your luggage up those stairs. I also dislike the dim lighting in the living room of the junior suite especially at the work table area making reading very strenous.

Good hotel in downtown Bintulu
The hotel is built into a newer 4 floor mall, with an inside connection door to the mall. The mall is not completely occupied by vendors but several other malls are within a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is good, internet is quick. The rooms get hot during the day since they have at least 1 exterior glass wall. The trick to this is either ask for 2 room cards, and shut the blinds when you leave. You want to use the spare room key to keep the AC on when your gone.

Room is clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful and attentive to request. Hotel is next to shopping centre which is still quite empty in terms of shops as well as shoppers which is a pity. There are food courts and restaurant nearby. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and Bintulu.

Hot in the afternoon
The hotel is facing the afternoon sun with windows locked... The room became a mini green house thus causing it to be super hot during the afternoon with aircond on full blast

Room size!
Great for me but a little small if a couple were staying for any length of time!!... cannot fault the staff or service. .. A down side was that the new mall had no ATM... had to go to park city mall or banks to get cash.

Pay for breakfast for 1 person? - Won't come again
The hotel is new however the room is small. I booked the room for 2 people. But the free breakfast provided is only for one person. The restaurant asked me to pay for the breakfast. When I argued this matter, the attendant explained that the hotel only provides free breakfast only for one guest which is ridiculous. It was very uncomfortable when a representative from the restaurant came to us as we checked out and said we have not paid for the other breakfast we asked for.
