"The motel looks just like the photos and met our needs. The check in desk was not staffed when we arrived but our room key was left out for us. We never saw anyone working there. There were only 2 towels in our room and there were 3 of us. I couldn’t find anyone to help with getting another towel. No one was manning the desk when we left the next day either."

"Very private location with great walks, but near town if needed. Had everything we needed for three couples. For elderly guests - would suggest replacing pantry with bathroom, as some of our party were challenged going up and down stairs to use bathroom. Also suggest a gate for stairs, as entry is hidden. Have to be careful not to step backwards onto steps. Would definitely stay again if opportunity arises."

"We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for our group. The kitchen was one of the highlights—it was exceptionally well stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and even a great selection of spices, making it easy to prepare meals. The backyard was beautiful, and having the Kenai River just steps away was incredible. Sterling was a great home base for exploring the Kenai Peninsula while still enjoying a quiet, relaxing setting. We would definitely stay here again!"
