"Absolutely gorgeous spot right on Whetstone Pond with amazing sunset views. The screened in porch makes this cute little cabin a real winner - we started every morning and ended every evening out there! It was amazing to hear the rain coming in over the pond and the loon calls were plentiful and hauntingly beautiful. We enjoyed the orb spider show every evening as well. The cabin is located right next to the boat launch so there is a small beach area which was awesome for our dog, swimming/floating, and kayak launching. The yard is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. We were fortunate enough to be there during the peak of the Perseids meteor shower and enjoyed laying out under the stars to catch the show. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated with a homey feel and everything you need to make a comfortable stay. I personally loved all the house plants - someone has a green thumb and I'm jealous. The only thing that did not make this property 5 stars across the board was that some of the furniture could use upgrades. The beds were not very comfortable, some of the kitchen chairs were not very sturdy and the wooden Adirondack chairs in the yard were poor shape. Bottom line - this cabin is small and cozy; it was perfect for four adults. Would definitely come back."
"The cabin was cozy and spacious at the same time. Very accommodating and very clean! We had a beautiful view of the lake with room to sit outside with loved ones. Tara was a fantastic host and communication was smooth and swift. Would recommend this cabin 100% to anyone looking to make relaxing and beautiful memories! Cannot wait to come back next year and make more!"
