Only one block to the heart of the downtown shopping/restaurant district, Bottlebrush on Bowen is a beautiful, meticulously maintained three-bedroom property within easy walking distance to historic downtown Ocean Springs, and less than a mile to beautiful Front Beach. Newly remodeled with all the amenities you need, Bottlebrush on Bowen is the perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway, as well as week-long vacations with the family. Loaded with amenities, you will find a clean, impeccably decorated space with hardwood floors throughout and all the conveniences of home. Bottlebrush on Bowen features a large open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and marble counters. The custom cabinets are filled with virtually everything you will need to prepare your meals. In the large dining area accented by chandelier lighting and decorated with elegant works of art by New Orleans artist Billy Solitario, the marble table is perfect for romantic dinners, and the large marble floating kitchen island offers additional dining space that kids love. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and offers plenty of space for preparing meals on days you rather stay in the comforts of home, rather than eating out at the numerous Ocean Springs hot spots. The living room provides a comfortable place to lounge in front of the large flat-screen TV with Cable and provides an extra place to sleep if needed. In the Master Bedroom you will find a luxurious, memory foam King bed, a huge walk-in closet, and the private bathroom features his and her vanities, an elegant walk-in shower, as well as a large tub (we are waiting on a part to fix the jets, so it is only a standard bathtub, not jacuzzi). Bottlebrush on Bowen has an on-demand tankless hot water heater, so no worries about having to wait for hot water if you have larger groups or like to take long hot showers. The two guest bedrooms have a queen-size bed and a double. All have flat-screen TVs with cable. A covered porch in the back of the home is surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. A grill is available for cooking out, and there are bikes available for guest use to explore the area. \*\*\*Pets are allowed for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please select that you will be bringing a pet when making the reservation or we will need to send an additional payment request after booking\*\*\* \*\*\*There should be no more than six people on the property unless prior permission is given. This house is absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location for an Ocean Springs getaway! The property manager and owners were so helpful and met all of our needs. I highly recommend renting their golf cart for quick transportation around town (especially is this heat). We can't wait to book our next stay! ##### David F. Inside and out was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard! We ended up renting the golf cart for a little local errand running and it was a welcome treat. Furniture was comfortable, kitchen was amazing, wonderful place to stay. ##### Lee J. My family and I were visiting Ocean Springs and New Orleans, and we stayed at this very nice home. Chris was always very prompt in responding to questions. The house is the perfect size for a small family or friends - love the wood ceiling in the main part of the house and that master bedroom/closet/bathroom is just amazing. Only a block from downtown - we walked and used the golf cart provided (with a fee). Nice restaurants, shops and bars with live music on the weekend. We also loved the screened in back porch. Place was very clean, and looked like the pictures. We loved our stay and would stay there again. ##### Sarah C. The host was available with quick responses to our inquiries. The only issue was there wasn’t a pod type coffee machine, since we brought a variety of pods, we went to Walmart and purchased one. We were able to walk everywhere without any issues. The beds were all super comfortable, and we used the kitchen appliances several times without issue. The water in Ocean Springs is very hard, but the filtered water faucet in the kitchen and the refrigerator were pleasant surprises and we used them often. Good food and good shopping and nice folks. Not crazy!! The location is a good hub to venture out to other sites and sounds. Already planning another visit in the spring. Close to restaurants and shops downtown. (We are Walter Anderson fans and bought artwork by his grandson) We had an incredible experience while walking out to pier on last morning of our visit. A pelican was trapped by tangled fishing line near rock jetty. My sister and two small boys riding bicycles were able cut the fishng line and the freed pelican flew away! ##### Mary G. The house is just perfect, well stocked, we loved the layout, decor, front porch (the neighbors were so friendly!!), the screened in back porch and patio area are awesome!! The long driveway was perfect for parking too. Shopping and many restaurants are within walking distance, but we highly recommend the optional golf cart rental. Chris, the property manager, is awesome!! We have stayed in several rentals in Ocean Springs through the years and this is our FAVORITE \~ looking forward to returning soon!!
