Pros: Homeowner is easy to work with. After booking, we needed to adjust our days and Brett was able to make that happen. He also notified us that we could check in early, we appreciated that as well. The movie room was awesome and almost the only way we watched TV. You have access to closets and hangers, which I appreciate, most places we have stayed you have to live out of your suitcase.
We stayed the last week of March, the weather and pool was too cold to use (not a homeowner issue… but a solar cover could help with this at this time of year)
Cons: The front door/entrance was a huge issue for 2 days. After putting in the code, and trying to enter the door wouldn’t open. Then we figured out if you pull up on the lever instead of down the door will open. Aside from the movie room, only one TV is usable, the remotes don’t work with the tv’s even after changing batteries… maybe it was user error? OK, HERE WE GO… Brett, spend $40 to $50 and buy some pots and pans. Seriously, after reading through past reviews, this has been a complaint for at least 4 years now. There is one usable pot. All other pots and pans look like they were picked up out the rubbish after going through a hurricane. Dented, warped, handles falling off, greasy, gross, and unusable. I bought a cookie sheet at Dollar General and left it there, at least the next person will have something usable.
Overall, the home feels “staged” vs a vacation retreat.
