My experience was horrible from the check in to the check out . Soon as I arrived at the hotel , it looked like a homeless shelter or hostel . The building is very old once you walk in you can’t help but see the dirty carpet and dirty reception . No one bothers to clean as it looks . The check in was rather quick and then things start to go downhill when they tell me the hotel has no lifts whatsoever and all rooms are on the first and second floor . I was told I had to take my own luggage ( a 30 kg luggage suitcase plus a 10 kg hand luggage . Nobody helped me. After a long flight , this is the last thing I want to do . I even mentioned the risk of someone falling in the stairs and injuring themselves whilst attempting to carry heavy luggage by themselves in a narrow staircase . As I’m making my way to the room I can’t help but see how dirty the hotel is . They have stains on the carpet and the walls are literally peeling in every way possible , the hotel lacks of air con and natural light . It felt so crowded and there little space in between rooms to the point you actually share balconies and there no sense of privacy . The room allocated to me was dirty beyond belief . It was so small and the decoration makes it worst . I had to move the bed slightly to plug my charger and it is clear no one cleans behind what the eye can see . I couldnt sleep all night because it was noise coming from everywhere and someone kept banging on the wall as I’m watching tv .

The place is a run down old hotel located on a hill. The staff not very friendly. There is NO ELEVATOR. You have to walk up the stairs of this building with a smelly old carpet. When you get to your room, mine was on the second floor, the room smelled as if 100 people had been smoking cigarettes prior to my arrival. When I tried to ventilate the room, the window opened just slightly. I will never recommend this place to anyone and certainly would never come back to it. Very bad experience.

Impromptu booking that worked out well
This is a really good place, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room was basic but clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. And the hotel is well located to explore the city centre. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Friendly and helpful
Small but very friendly and helpful staff. Quite convenient for walking to city and old town only 15 minutes walk. Basic but that's all you need. Breakfast available at a reasonable price but local cafe OK to.

Basic hotel in noisy location
Our room was comfortable but the noise outside was terrible. There was loud yelling & laughing well into the night then early in the morning garbage trucks and roller shutters woke us before we had recovered. Double glazing would have helped. The stairs were pretty steep, so carrying a heavy suitcase to the second floor was difficult. Bathroom was clean and beds comfortable. Large notices on the wall about the availability of a pillow list and "health and hygiene" packs made us wonder what kind of people we would encounter in the hallways.

I needed a place in Bilbao for overnight before an early plane. The hotel is hard to find but ok : I had a tiny but clean room. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful.

the hotel was quite difficult to find even with satnav, the area was very busy in the day time but not very nice at night. Rooms were cramped and a bit worn, bathroom walls very thin and noisy, breakfast was terrible and the underground parking difficult entry/exit except in very small car. Its a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for but this one could do with an upgrade or two.

The hotel was not easy to find on Garmin, taking 4 attempts as some of the roads indicated were one way only. The underground parking is very 'challenging' with a steep curved slope. If this was hard going in, it was really hard on exit with a heavily loaded car. I liked the 'photo' theme but thought the poorly lit rooms were a bit basic for the price. While the staff were wonderful, I won't be returning.

The staff was very nice and this hotel was very close to the station, making it convenient for leaving the city. However, the neighborhood was very dodgy, and it was very noisy all night. The rooms are small, and tolerably clean, though a bit musty smelling. No AC.

The first room was awful and smokey. I had to change it. The second room was very basic. No balcony, no fridge, small bathroom. The personnel of the hotel was very helpful. The location was good, although quite far from the metro.

My guy friend and I stayed in separate rooms. single room is cosy n small but is noisy at night, probably due to bars downstairs. while my friend has got a triple room along a quieter street. the old lady in night shift is helpful but knows little english and is rather slow at work. place looks modern and pretty, but has no lift. the self serve cafe is nice homely corner to relax in.

Arrived early, had to wait for hours, beware of the late checkin. Finally got the room, it was dirty, musky (damp!) and dark (lights didn't work). Tried to speak to the receptionist, who didn't speak english (only spanish). Wrote a note to the manager, but nobody contacted me back, nor the next day. The night was a nightmare. Very noisy neighborhood and very bad sound isolation, you can hear everything from the room next door, the corridor and the street. The madrass was made of brick stone and very squiky. My window had cracks that made it damp in the room when it rained outside. The next morning it all topped up with no hot water in the shower. Not a nice neighboorhood, not far from San Fransisco, beware! OK, this is a twostar hotell, but at least, a cleaned room and some decent service is expected, isn't it? I checked out after two days.

Simple and Convenient
The place is nothing special, but good for your money. The carpets leading to the rooms is really bad...stained from green to black. It wasn't a big deal, but a bad first impression for sure. Also, no elevator...so hope you don't mind to carry your luggage up a few flights of narrow stairs. It wasn't a horrible place, but we will probably look elsewhere if we are ever back in Bilbao.

My stay was comfortable. It is centrally located. If you wish to save money you can take the airport bus to the city. From the city stop either you walk down or take a taxi to the hotel other wise it will almost cost you about Euro 25 for the airport transfe by taxi. The reception is also very help ful they give you all the informations in English. At this price the hotel is worth to stay.

The hotel was extremely noisy and the shower didn't work properly. But the staff was nice. Couldn't really sleep and the wi-fi doesn't really exist in the rooms eventhough they say so. For one or two nights with earplugs this hotel is nice.
