we spent a week enjoying the lake and surrounding mountains home was clean and comfortable and we had a great time kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed Great place!
Not only is this property beautiful, but it’s location was the perfect getaway to relax and get back to nature. Our children loved paddle boarding on Swan Lake, fishing, and the scenery. It was a close drive to everything we wanted to do as well. Highly recommend!

Best vacation ever !!!!
Perfect, beautiful scenery, did not want to go home!
We all had a wonderful time. Used the stand up, paddle boards, the kayaks, paddle boats, the ping pong table, the basketball hoop. Also loved the grill and griddle on the deck. Would love to go back.
Such an amazing stay. Plenty to do, lots of water activities, fun games and books. Beautiful deck and view. Well stocked with necessities and kitchen supplies. Comfortable beds and lots of space to roam. We had 8 adults and 2 kids and everyone had a great time. One minor issue was fixed same day quickly by Shannon. Highly recommend and would stay again!
Gorgeous home with spectacular views of Swan lake and the mountains. Online photos don’t do this home justice. Host provided everything we needed with many extras, like beach towels and water “toys” for recreation. We brought our own boat. An amazing stay!
We loved this home! Beautiful view of the swan mountains, great beach front, quiet. Very well equipped kitchen. The floor in the master bathroom was heated, lovely bonus. We took the kayaks out and had a ball. The driveway was very steep, narrow, and curvy, which was very stressful since we brought a trailer with our bikes. But other than that, we have a wonderful time.
Perfect place to go and relax and enjoy beautiful Montana. The home was perfect for our families, something for everyone to do. The home is clean and has wonderfully stocked kitchen and coffee bar.
Stayed here with family and our one-year-old daughter and the house was perfect for us! Incredible location where we could launch our boat and all of the water toys you could hope for! Will be back!!!
So many water toys and a beautiful setting! Fire restrictions kept us from having beachfront fires at night but it was available. Plenty of room for all 9 of us.
We had a blast staying at the lake house! First off, the views are spectacular of the great big lake and mountains in the background. We enjoyed going out on the water in the provided kayaks and paddle boards, grilling on the grill, and having fires at night. The house was fully equipped with nice amenities that made the stay that much better. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this house.
The house was clean and very well stocked. Fun living space for the whole group both inside and out (large deck). Great proximity to the lake - much fun was had fishing off the dock & paddle boat then floating around in the kayaks and on the paddle boards. We also loved that is a bit off the beaten path and in the woods. Nice neighbors.
Great location to many other fun things in the area; Glacier, horse back rides, charters on flathead lake, river floats, etc...
Overall, the layout was great for our family. We loved the proximity to the lake, and the dock access. We would definitely stay here again.
If you are bringing a boat, definitely put in at the public boat launch before going to the cabin. The road is not conducive for a boat and/or trailer. The owners were awesome and let us know ahead of time.
Thanks for the amazing two weeks.
This property on Swan Lake was perfect place for us to escape the Arizona heat. The home is right on the lake, and it is a beautiful setting with mountains in the background. It has a nice sized dock, where we spent a lot of time hanging out and swimming. The owner also provides two kayaks, two paddleboards, and at least one paddleboat, and the hottub is on the lower deck. We enjoyed using all of these things. The house itself is not fancy, but very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, serving dishes, and utensils. There are a lot of games and movies (although with the view and activities, we didn't turn on the TV). There was a lot of outdoor seating for enjoying the view. The home is only about 25 minutes from Big Fork, so there is easy access to a store and restaurants. The interior stairs are a spiral staircase, which was perfectly fine for our party. There was a ping pong table, pop-a-shot in the garage, and a grill and Blackstone on the patio. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back in the future.
The home was comfortable but looked lived in—the refrigerator had not been wiped out, the dryer was full of laundry, the kitchen floor was filthy. There were dirty dishes put away in the cabinets and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The dishwasher appeared not to be working. Since there was no air conditioning, we turned on the fans as advised and the fan in the kitchen blew greasy clumps of dust around. I expected more for a thousand a night. I reported it to property maintenance but not sure they took notice. But we did have a good stay because our son had a lovely wedding.
The house was great for our family of 8. The kids (big and small) enjoyed the water toys so much, we stayed home for an entire day just to enjoy the lake.
Getting around was a breeze, once you drove the 10 minutes to get to the main road. The driveway is extremely steep and is off a one lane road on the side of a hill with many curves. Definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
The house has a great kitchen stocked with all the gadgets and spices you will need. The upper level deck was so peaceful for our morning coffee. Speaking of coffee, the house has a keurig, a coffee maker, coffee grinder, frother, and an espresso machine!
The first few nights were very warm, so all of the ceiling and floor fans were used. The lower level stayed very cool, so the kids bunked in the office. The latter part of our trip dropped 20 degrees…so we used the fireplace to take the chill out.
Overall a great home for any family wanting to experience the beautiful Montana scenery!
We had our 3 kids and grandparents that came on this trip. The house is very nice, beds were comfy, linens were soft. This house has an especially nice coffee set up. There was a very nice office set up which meant I could get a little work done. There was so many things to do between the paddle boat, lake, books, games, and puzzles. Thank you by the way, my kids loved that stuff!!! There was really some great thought into making this such a wonderful place to vacation. My in laws loved to spend the whole morning on the back deck looking at the beautiful view. It really is so stunning. There wasn’t air conditioning and temperatures peaked to 100 while we were there (max of 86 degree in the house) I do understand that many places in the area won’t have airconditioning because it is rarely this hot.
We just spent lots of time in the lake! There are also a lot of stairs but you really have a pretty amazing view which makes up for that.
Overall, I would recommend this home to any of my family and friends as a great get away with everything you need to feel at home. Please do consider this wonderful secluded home with everything you need right there to have a great stay!
This was the absolute perfect place to stay after adventuring all day. The house is spacious, secluded, and very quiet. The road to the house is very narrow, and it was a bit tough turning into the driveway with a Duramx Denalli pickup....but we made it. The views from the deck are stunning. It has comfortable beds, is very clean, and has everything you need. One of our favorites was the beautiful coffee bar. The host was accommodating and helpful. 10/10 recommend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montana and staying at this property.
