Everything is sparkling clean and comfortable. Outdoors, you'll be greeted by a sunken green lawn area and rolling green hills across the road. It's a bit of a drive over a dirt road outside the town of Big Timber, but your'e rewarded by a cozy dwelling at the end. Certainly my favorite in the Big Timber area! The "Bunkhouse" is about 6 miles from downtown Big Timber. Four of those miles are on a gravel road, but it's a good condition gravel road. It's on a working cattle and horse ranch, surrounded by other ranches. Rather scenic for ranch land, with gentle rolling hills and groves of trees. It has a nice rock driveway that keeps your shoes clean even if it's raining. The cabin has a nice grass yard. There is a drainage ditch separating the cabin yard from the owners' home. We did most of our cooking on the small Weber gas grill. The grill is big enough to grill two large steaks or four large burgers. For a grill with a single burner, it cooks more evenly than I expected. The owners gave us privacy, but they were very friendly when we walked over to talk with them. Nathan tipped his hat when he shook my wife's hand, which really impressed her. ##### Bill H.
