A gas barbeque is on the covered porch. And, the biggest, best, least crowded ski area in North America, Big Sky is out your front door! Ski Access You can ski directly to our garage door from the top of any of 8 ski lifts serving Lone Mountain. There are 2 routes to our neighborhood. Both branch off of Lower Morningstar ski run. A skier that knows these runs can ski nonstop to the house. A slower or less proficient skier will have to pole and slide for approximately 100 yards on either route. A complete description of these routes are in the unit. There are 4 options for getting to the base area from the house. First option. Walk 100 feet to the end of driveway, Access the ski return from White Otter lift line run, walk on the fairly level run for 250 feet, put on skiis, coast 250 feet, walk 50 feet, load White Otter double chairlift, Ride to top, then ski to base area. Total time 15 to 20 minutes. Second option. Walk 150 feet to bus stop. Get on free mountain loop bus which runs every half hour from 854 am until 10pm. Ride bus for 6 minutes to base area. Walk 400 feet to Swiftcurrent or Ramcharger lifts. Total time 15 minutes. Third option. Walk 600 feet from our house, through the Cedar Creek Condominiums parking lots, around building 7, to Sitting Bull Road. Catch continuous parking lot shuttle at satellite lot closest to Cedar Creeks. Ride to base area. Walk 300 feet to Swiftcurrent or Ramcharger lifts. Total time 20 minutes. Fourth option. Drive car 2 minutes to free skier parking lot. Catch parking lot shuttle to base area. Walk 300 feet to Swiftcurrent or Ramcharger lifts. Total time 15 minutes. The advantage of our location is that you have options. If you decide to enjoy some Apre Ski cocktails at the base area and the lifts are closed for the day, The free mountain loop bus can take you home. If you want to go to the base area in the evening to shop, dine or bar hop, the free mountain loop bus is handy. If there is a big powder dump and the walk along the ski return run would be daunting, relax, just take the options 2. 3 or 4. It's nice to have options.

Our group of 8 had a fantastic stay at this VRBO. It was extremely comfortable, with cozy beds and ample space. The common space was big for a group, and the kitchen was well stocked. The ski in and out was an amazing bonus, and the proximity to the mountain can’t be beat. The hot tub was also a lovely treat at the end of a ski day. We would love to come back!
This house was a great place for our group. Since we were a group of adult couples, we particularly appreciated that all 4 bedrooms had queen beds. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and woodburning fireplace. The walk/ski in/out made it convenient for everyone to enjoy the mountain on their own schedule. Would stay again.
Bob was great to deal with! The house was perfect for our group of 9. Great kitchen for cooking and easy access to the mountain! Can ’t wait to come back.
Bob's place is fantastic. The location could not have been better for accessing the mountain (we walked to the shuttle, and it was extremely quick and easy), and the property itself was clean, well-stocked (including with a great assortment of games), and perfect for our group of friends. Great living room and kitchen to spend time in and we loved having the hot tub to come back to after skiing. We had a wonderful weekend and would absolutely stay here again/recommend it to anyone!
The host is very welcoming and helpful. Responded to all my questions prior to the stay and made sure we got checked into the house okay. House is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The ski in is super easy. You can ski out, but it is also nice to thave the Big Sky shuttle a short walk away. Great place!
The place was comfortable, clean, and close to the resort. Short walk to put on skis and can ski all the way back to the place. Hot tub was a great addition.
This was great for the 8 of us - fully stocked with all the essentials great access to slopes and excellent hot tub that we used each evening! The view is amazing and we took walks in the snow around the back every day!!
Beautiful property and excellent location very close to Big Sky Ski resort. VRBO host was extremely helpful and provided great recommendations. Will be back!
Spent a few days at Big Sky with family. The property was beautiful ski-in and ski-out. Wonderful kitchen and a beautiful unobstructed view of the mountain. Looking forward to returning to this property again.
Great set up for a Big Sky ski vacation. The house was spacious, well stocked, and very comfortable for our family with adult children. Owner was very hospitable and friendly. Would definitely return!
Great ski house with everything we needed to enjoy multiple days on the mountain and cook for nearly all of our meals. Location was great, we had cars and little kids so we drove to the free parking lots and took the shuttle, but the walk would have been just as easy. The hot tub was clean and well functioning, and the heat kept the house comfortable at night.
The house was perfectly situated for ski-in a days end, walk in the AM was easy and then ski down to the lift easy as well.Walking to the mountain village was about 10 minutes or can drive and find parkimg easily enough.Owner and local PM wre great folks, very helpful and responsive. Would stay here again for sure.
The house was just as advertised. There was plenty of room for 9 adults with a well-stocked full sized kitchen, hot tub, and a nice wood burning fireplace. Bob was a great host and checked in with us a couple of times. There was a baby moose bedded down in the woods right outside the main window one morning which was really fun to watch. I would definitely rent Bob’s place again in the future.
We spent a week at Ski Heaven for our spring break and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the living room recliners, hot tub, large showers, and big views of falling snow and pine trees. The walk to the White Otter lift only takes a few minutes, but the kids preferred the walk to the free resort shuttle. The ski back to the house was easy and we saw a fox on the trail the first day. We would definitely stay at this house again.
We had a great time at this location. Very close to the ski hill. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is very private and quiet and the view out of the back windows is beautiful. We saw a fox daily that came by, my kids would wait for the fox to come by everyday! There are walking paths in the back that we walked daily, there is even a sledding hill that my kids enjoyed a lot. Bob was very helpful and responsive as well. Can't say enough about this house and location. We will be back!
For the past 7 years we have rented vacation homes in Big Sky, Snowmass and Jackson Hole with 2 families. This home worked out exceptionally well for our group consisting of 2 couples with 3 kids/teens each. The ski access was decent for early season and the setting of the home felt very private with an amazing view! Bob was very responsive and kind enough to check in us via text. We look forward to staying here agian.
Sincerely,
Tony Zahn, Holland Michigan

We had an incredible stay and can’t say enough about our experience! Communication with Bob was fantastic. So nice and helpful. The house is super nice, clean, huge, and stocked with everything you need. We walked 5 mins in the morning to the lift, and skied straight into the driveway to end the day. The hot tub is awesome! We also walked 15 mins to Mountain Village restaurants at night. Can also drive there in 2 mins and park for free. House is in very peaceful and quiet location, yet very close and walkable to everything you need. We can’t wait to come back here. Thank you again.
Loved this place. Our family was very comfortable here. We loved the very hot hot tub and the view out the picture window, which was amazing. Bob was a super host, responding immediately to any questions we had.
