We skied 5 days in a row and found the location a fairly easy drive up to Madison Base. We also drove into town each night for dinner. We did a few of the puzzles over the course of the week and found all the furniture to be comfortable, which is not always the case! I’d say the only aspect that we struggled with was how cold the main floor was, especially the main floor bedroom. I suppose with the soaring ceilings the heat just rises, but both kids really had to bundle up to keep warm over night. Garage door was finicky but we figured out how to make it work. Layout was great with plenty of space four our group of 5\. Kitchen had what we needed to cook meals. Town Center very close for groceries and supplies. Kids loved the decorations in the chalet. Close to town We booked this for a trip to Yellowstone, and Yellowstone is about a 30 or so minute drive. For proximity to Big Sky and the hiking trails around Big Sky, this is a great location. Close to Town Center and Ousel Falls. Roomy layout. There was even a growler for us to use to taste the great Montana beers nearby. The only downside was the condition of the appliances, which were quite old and slow, but still functional to prepare meals. Had a great griddle that we used often. This was maybe the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in! Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The house was super clean. Our family of 6 had more than enough space. The location for our summer vacation was perfect. Only 45 mins-1 hr to Yellowstone. There’s a trail nearby for walking, jogging, biking. The layout of the house enabled our whole family to be comfortable. The fireplace, the views of the surrounding hillside, and even the artwork around the house make for a very aesthetic experience. The 3 bedrooms were all very comfortable and spacious enabled our family members to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make our meals. And since we were primarily here for skiing. the property was reasonably close to the Big Sky Resort (15-20 min. door to main lodge). Our only minor disappointments were that heating system was often quite noisy, the garage could only accommodate a small car, and the shuttles to mountain were not that accessible to our location and typically required two separate buses. ##### Rick L. Conveniently located near Big Sky Town Center 10-15 min away from Big Sky resort. Plenty of firewood in the garage and many of the basic amentities were provided. Spent many a night snuggled up near the cozy fire. Beehive Property Mgmt was also very timely with emails and also called us prior to make sure everything was ok. There were some odd quirks such as the heating system seeming to be undersized, though it was very near 0 degF outside. Electric heating fans to supplement baseboard heating and baseboard heating in 2nd floor bedrooms being a bit loud when turned on. Toaster and coffeemaker upgrade would be nice, too. P.S.
