"Communication from host is great. They left a bottle of wine and snacks for us to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. This place is so peaceful and clean. I would stay at this place again."

"Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the property. The staff was friendly, and the amenities were great. However, the room could have been much cleaner upon arrival. We understand that the property is pet-friendly, and we love dogs, but the floors were extremely dirty, and pet hair was everywhere throughout the room. Also, since there is no housekeeping service, I ended up having to clean quite a bit myself during our stay. With better cleaning standards, this would have been an excellent experience."
"You're looking for a place just to stop on the way down further south. We checked in pretty late one evening and receptionist was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The room was nicer than expected due to the great price. Bed was comfy and bathroom was very clean and fit the purpose. They had a self-service coffee station out on the inlet dock which was a pleasant area to start your morning. Definitely will return."
"We stayed one night at Skipjack Resort & Marina while making our way through the Florida Keys toward Key West, and it was a great overnight stop.
The resort is clean and comfortable, with a nice pool area and beautiful marina views. While the waterfront view is of the marina rather than the open ocean, it still provides a relaxing Florida Keys atmosphere.
One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the front desk hostess at check-in. She was absolutely fantastic friendly, thorough, and took the time to explain everything about the property and local area. Excellent customer service and a wonderful first impression.
The resort also offers free breakfast and free parking, which were appreciated perks during our trip. It isn’t a luxury resort, but it doesn’t try to be. It’s a comfortable, convenient, and affordable place to stay with everything you need.
The location is excellent, close to restaurants, bars, and local attractions such as the Turtle Hospital. It’s also a perfect stopping point before crossing the Seven Mile Bridge on the way to Key West.
Overall, Skipjack is a great no-frills option in Marathon. Comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, good amenities, and a convenient location make it an ideal overnight stop while exploring the Keys."
"The staff here are amazing they are so nice and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was much more than we had expected and cookies and lemonade in the afternoon was a special treat again not expected but a nice touch. Our room was somewhat dated but we’re not there to spend time in the room. My only complaint would be to please update the bed it was not comfortable at all. But I would still give this place 5 stars and recommend it to anyone. Lots of great places to eat in the area and close to places of interest."
