This cabin felt like a home away from home in the mountains in Big Bear. There was 9 of us who stayed there with our dog. I loved the porches with places to sit and the big yard was great for our Great Dane to run around in. The kitchen had all the supplies like cookware and silverware we used to cook most meals during our stay. There was plenty of blankets to keep us warm. Although I stayed on the pullout couch and it was very springy and uncomfortable but thankfully there was enough blankets and bedding to pile up and provide enough cushion so I could sleep comfortably. We also couldn’t figure out which remote to use and how to work the TV… And then the only other problem my mom mentioned to me is that the outlets in the downstairs bathroom didn’t work so she had to use her blowdryer and flat iron in the bedroom. But overall the cabin was very homey and fit our big family well for the few days we were there. We enjoyed playing games around the dining room table and we could screencast our phones onto the TV so at least we could enjoy the TV that way. It was really nice to be able to walk to the slopes of snow summit instead of driving there like we normally do and having to deal with parking. We were able to fit 3 SUVs in the driveway. I’m grateful we found this place to stay.
Great location to head to the Mtn, summer or winter
Great cabin feel in a quiet, yet convenient location. We had everything we needed for a very restful and fun getaway from LA. Great location for trips to mountain bike in Big Bear!
Comfortable, inviting and well stocked. Excellent porches and outdoor space. Nice quiet neighborhood for walking or bike riding. An excellent choice for our mini reunion.
It was our first time renting a cabin through you guys and I have to say it was the best won't go anywhere else you guys are awesome thank you very much for everything
This was exactly what we needed! We were nervous to arrive because of some of the reviews but couldn’t have been more pleased with this lovely cabin. Clean, cozy and comfy! It felt so cozy with the log fire on at night time. The sofas and beds were really comfy and our boys loved the mezzanine level with the big selection of movies. The yard was fenced in and safe for the dogs and we loved sitting on the porch with our hot drinks, looking at the gorgeous trees. Reading the many guest books you can tell so many people have had wonderful times here. Will definitely stay here again!
Property was a bit older/worn, but clean. Location was excellent. Walked to slopes both days. Had everything we needed!! Would stay again.
Check in was poor. Keys didn’t open one of the locks. Was stuck waiting outside in the cold with young kids for 30-45 minutes, needing to use the restroom after a long drive...
Beautiful cabin in great neighborhood. Layout of cabin was perfect.
All was OK. Cabin internet did not work the whole time we were there causing much frustration for kids and adults. The router would not connect. We ended up using our phones as Hotspots which has increased our mobile bill for the month.

Needs help
If yu want to ski at summit, this is perfect. We came in sept. And found it lacking. Noisy close neighbors. No screen doors downstairs for circulation. Inadequate lighting. Uncomfortable wood chairs. Back yard sparse. No sharp knife, only 1dishtowel. Very old dingy upholstered sofas and horrible bedspreads. It was clean and had fenced back yard. Appliances old and tired. Will not be back

The property was spacious enough for us and our 2 dogs who traveled with us. Overall it was an okay stay. The house is extremely rustic which was great for that true cabin experience. Outdoors nothing had been properly stored in preparation for the snow. The backyard games weren’t touched because everything was buried in the snow. We also weren’t able to use the furniture on the side patio because the snow had not been removed and it had formed into ice. We attempted to remove it, but were not successful. I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick weekend getaway in the mountains in a quiet and calm neighborhood.
The booking process was a bit stressful because vrbo has different information than the actual rental company. I was able to get the right check in, check out information from them.
Overall, for the price, we were happy with this property and we enjoyed our Big Bear vacation. The location of the cabin is nice. It's a quiet neighborhood, close to Snow Summit, close to the Village, and close to lots of eateries. Check in and check out were super easy, with no issues. The beds were comfortable. The fenced backyard was great for our dog. A few things to note: While the kitchen is stocked with lots of items (pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc.) there was no foil, saran wrap, ziplock bags, napkins, etc. When I inquired about this, I was told these items were not provided. Good to know for anyone considering booking this cabin, as other vrbo properties we've stayed at in the past have provided at least some of these items. Also, we traveled with two young boys. All of the items in the kitchen (like cups, bowls, plates) are made of heavy ceramic. Not a problem for adults, but for families traveling with young kids, just know there was no plasticware that you might consider more "kid safe." Other reviewers mentioned the weak water pressure and worn furniture - both of which we noticed as well, but neither was a major issue for us.
As a Covid plan, we traveled to Big Bear Lake from NC to meet our Daughter, who lives in LA. The area is beautiful, laid back and yet, has everything a person could need for VACATION. We had a bit of a glitch with heat in our house, but the management team responded immediately and efficiently, enabling us to stay in our chosen house! It was overall, an excellent experience! We would visit again.
Two blocks to the slopes! This cozy cabin was a very warm and welcoming place to return to after a long day of skiing. The fenced-in back yard was ideal for our dogs. The kitchen is small and by no means gourmet, but clean and the cubbords are full of all the necessities you might need to prepare most anything. The loft was a hit with our son and all the beds were comfortable. There are volumes of guest books that contain messages from previous guests, which really made us feel like the owners care and wanted to share the experiences of the folks who visit their home. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations.
Truly enjoyed this short stay, we felt as this our second home! love it
Beautiful, well kept, No water presure of the shower heads, we love it, will book again for the same location as we plan for a next vist,
Great managment, Great house, Thank you.

Wedding Weekend
It was a quick weekend getaway for our sons wedding. Disappointed in the check in process-messaged the property management company before we left to see if we were able to check in early, and they told me that we would be able to check in at 1:00 pm. We arrived at 2:00pm and were told that there was maintenance being done on the cabin-the young man at the counter was less than helpful & we were not able
to check in until after 3:00.
The cabin was cute, cozy and had a beautiful fireplace, but the comforters on the beds were not clean and there were no blankets on the beds. Bedding definitely needs some care & updating. Also, there was no soap provided for showering (first time in 30+ years of renting)-had to shower with liquid hand soap after a long day of traveling.
Our stay at the cabin was very nice. Although it was hot outside the cabin and porches stayed cool from the shade of the trees. The inside of the cabin was spacious enough for our family of four. The beds were comfy which is always important. The couches and some of the furniture was a little worn but everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Check in and check out were quick and easy.
