The place is in a great location, close to the mountain, shops, and restaurants. Most importantly, it has a kitchen with utensils, cups, plates, bowls, and cookware, so you can save some money and eat at the rental

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Very convenient part of Big Bear Village. Close walk to restaurants and shopping. It was nice to have a bedroom and kitchen along with a day bed, trundle bed, and couch. Only complaint would be the sinks. The kitchen sink had a nozzle control thing, but it either sprayed violently and it got everywhere or it was a little drizzle. Made it hard to do dishes. Bathroom sink water pressure was a little weak, but wasn’t too bad. Beds were decent. Couch was comfy. Smart tv had all the apps to choose from. We brought our Wii Switch and had tons of fun. We would definitely stay here again.

So much to like- especially location- being right at the village was awesome!! Great staff. Convenient parking. Clean, maybe too clean (the aroma was very strong for my tastes). The bed in the bedroom was adorable!

Overall this was a great lodge for our trip to Big Bear Lake. The staff was very friendly. A bit less accessible than some other places. Text messages are the only contact after 6pm and only for emergencies after 9pm. Our fireplace did not work well on our first day and had stopped completely when we tried again on the second night. Being that it was after 9pm this didn't seem like an emergency so there was no way to address it. We had the Brown Bear room which is quite spacious and has a full kitchen. No dishwasher and no rack to place hand washed dishes but that is just a minor inconvenience. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you need, as well as coffee and filters. The room did get pretty cold at times so you have to adjust the thermostat a bit for consistency. There is a warning about turning it too high because it takes a long time to cool the room off, so maybe we were just playing it a little too safe. The Brown Bear room overlooks a major street in The Village. It is extremely convenient for walking around when you leave the lodge, but it can get quite noisy. I had to tend to some business calls while our baby slept in the main bedroom so I had to compete with noise coming up from the street. There is a great gelato shop downstairs that people seem to congregate in front of. So if you need a quiet room, I would suggest inquiring about the rooms facing the rear of the building instead. Overall, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Check in was a breeze. Place was spacious with lots of sleeping options. Clean, cozy and had a fireplace. Extra linens available. Walkable to all shops and stores in the village was really convenient! Parking in the back was perfect.

The blinds were not properly attached so we couldn't open them and the water dripping constantly in the bathtub couldn't be fixed (work order was for the week after we left) so we had a terrible noisy night trying to sleep. The staff was incredibly friendly though and the location was amazing.

This is our second visit, we have stayed in two different rooms upstairs next to each other. It was so warm when we arrived, the fireplace was on the lights were on to welcome us. The linens were crisp, fluffy pillows and comfy comforters. Impeccably clean. The fridge, the freezer. The stove. The bathroom . It was, and is a place we want to continue to visit. I love that we park, then everything else is done on foot. Perfect location.

We were only there 2 days but very happy with our experience. the pictures make it look twice the size, i had the impression it was a house/cabin, this is a small 1 bedroom apartment (ours was on the second floor). i am still very happy, just want people to be aware it is not a "stand alone" cabin or anything. Parking was easy in the back lot and surrounded by shops and restaurants and walking distance to the lake.

A 6 out of 5 stars.
If you are looking for a quiet, intimate place to stay in Big Bear Lake, this is the place for you. It is right In the Village with plent of shops and dining just outside the front door. The ad doesn't do it justice. It is like having a small, furnished apartment rather than a standard hotel suite. Everytime I return, I will only stay here.

Hello Alex, We reached out yesterday regarding the 1 Star review via messages, we also tried calling you. The only response was through messages. As we love to provide our guests with quick and superb service. A Jeanne Conner responded to your message with false information. This was her response, "we were kicked out for my friends being in the jacuzzi after it closed and had to drive 5 hours home at midnight and not only did we not get any money back but you guys also charged us an additional 250 meaning we payed 350 just to be there for an hour"This unit at our lodge does NOT have a Jacuzzi tub, no one had been kicked out, nothing had been disputed and nothing more was charged other than what you had initially paid. The response provided incorrect information and for us it is not fair to have a 1-star review due to someone's confusion. We are asking you to please review this matter and to please remove this review. We will be mentioning this to Expedia as well. We only ask for you to do the right thing. Thank you – Front Desk

Love that the place is in The Village with many shops and restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed walking around and great night life in the evening/night time. We love that the unit has a kitchen for us to cook. The unit is nice and clean. The kitchen needs a little updating, but over all the place is comfortable and makes us feel like we are at home. The staff are very friendly and responsive. On our 1st day, I was in touch via text and she offered some places to eat. Added a touch of personalized customer service. I will definitely stay here again!
