The winterland cottage at Fox Farm was the most amazing place to stay at Big Bear. The cottage is so cute and cozy. It’s well cared for and has all the amenities you could ever need. The outdoor area is precious, and the location is perfect- so close to the slopes and restaurants. The host is wonderful - very responsive and left adorable commemorative mugs for us to keep. We loved that it was so dog friendly and that our dogs could roam the fenced in yard. There were dog bowls and even some dry food for them. The beds were comfortable and the linens were high quality. On our 2nd night the power went out from about 7:30p till 1am. The host texted us promptly and let us know that a tree fell on a power line. We appreciated the lanterns and electric candles in the home. We fell asleep with the windows open so got the true cabin experience until the a/c kicked back on. Wish we could have used the hot tub but due to the power outage, we didn't get in. It was very clean though. Will definitely return. Big Bear is beautiful even in August! ##### Stacy N. Very modern inside with updated appliances, supplies, and furniture. It felt like a remote mountain stay but is really just off the main road in Big Bear. Nice fenced-in back yard.
