We had a great stay at the Rustic Mountain Retreat! It was dog friendly, with plenty of backyard space for the pups. Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a balcony off the bedroom. Livingroom was cozy and the fireplace kept the place warm. I would say the major plus of this VRBO is the multiple hiking trails that you can access from the backyard and the direct access to nature. Some odd things were no light in the downstairs half bath. Making trips to that bathroom weirdly in the dark or having to have the door open to the kitchen for some light. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but that could also be me falling down the mountain all day and just being sore overall. I would stay again. ##### Danielle A. Stayed here 3 nights with a small group of friends and our dogs. Clean place with all essential supplies you need. Loved the fenced in yard and backyard with quick access to trail and sledding hill. Quiet street with little traffic. Short distance from parking lot shuttle service for ski resorts. Property owner very responsive and helpful. Only feedback to owner I would provide would be updating some lighting throughout the cabin so there’s less need to use extension cords. Pull out couch in living room very small and uncomfortable.
