Great cabin atmosphere. Location is amazing and sooo quiet. I felt like the only cabin on the mountain, even though there are cabins everywhere.

Very cozy home

This is a very cute home up in the mountain residents. The home was very clean and cozy. Plenty of seating and a nice long dinner table for everyone to sit at. The kitchen was very nice and had enough settings and cookware to use. Both our families enjoyed the home!

Time with the kids and grandkids

We all loved the place we stayed at. Kitchen was all the woman could get in there and make delicious meals. Just a much needed break from school and work. Love my family.

Was comfortable for the most part. Did not know so many levels with stairs. My mom has a heart condition so that was not pointed out. Several items in kitchen broken never saw extra paper towels had to buy. Or coffee filters. Coffee grinder broken.

We came for my mom's 80th birthday. We had her plus my brother's family and mine. Nine people total. Everything was perfect. We liked that there were trails to hike from the property and that it backed up into the woods.

Lots of beds, but kinda old.

The house had lots of beds which we needed for 7 adults. However, the unit needs to be updated. The lighting was poor in all the rooms. One of the tubs had some kind of spots on it. We didn't know what it was. Parking was tough and the City of Big Bear has way too many rules. No place to leave the trash. Had to take it home. Will not come back. To bad because it in a nice area.

Nice cabin. NOTE: to future renters... the "keypad" is ON the door. Don't be distracted by the old-school lock-box right next to the door. Use the Schlage keypad that integrated into the door handle. This was a great space for our guys weekend of playing cards and drinking. Plenty of space around the table, nice bar area and a fridge that makes ice. Pros: Clean, spacious common area. Large dining table (can accommodate a lot of folks. Bar area. Nice pool table. Cons: One of the "bedrooms" is kind of a pass-through area with no privacy. The kitchen had NO large salad bowl for making salad for a crowd.

All balls go right!

Was very excited for our first couples retreat. Glad I got there early before our friends. Pool table top was full of stuff, lint, fuzz and unbalanced so much that all the balls rolled to the right, place needed to be vacuumed, scribble mark's on tables, huge spider webs in most of the ceiling corners, fan didn't work and last but not least one of our friends got locked in the bathroom (because the door sticks) for quite sometime because everyone was downstairs and we couldn't hear him. Drains were clogged, and tub stopper wouldn't stay up. Only enough hot water for 2 showers. Place needs a lot of TLC. We left the place cleaner than we found it. Should have gotten some of our cleaning deposit back.

Great Place!

Nice house, plenty of space for even a large party (we were 9 people). Neighborhood is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. View from the balcony is all trees--no other houses or structures in the way. Would absolutely rent again!

This cabin was adequate for our family of 6 adults and a few dogs during our stay at Christmas. Our only complaints are the beds are very uncomfortable, the pillows are awful and the washer/dryer are ancient and don’t work all that well. This cabin is in serious need of updating.

Great place for a small get away !

My family members and I definitely enjoyed the stay ! We fell in love with the kitchen . We enjoyed the pool table . We were happy with the rooms as well but we didn’t spend much time in them. One small defect was that the two down stairs bedroom were very cold (there is no heater) but thankfully we took extra blankets. The couches were also comfy... What is also great is that you can enjoy the yard because you can slide down the snow (if there is any) .
