Spend the day skiing, snowboarding or exploring Big Bear, then unwind in the private year-round hot tub, gather around the gas fire pit beneath string lights, or settle in for a movie night.

DOG-FRIENDLY GETAWAYS

Up to 3 dogs are welcome. The fully fenced yard gives them room to enjoy the mountain air, and dog-waste bags are provided. The pet fee is $75 per dog, per stay.

OUTDOOR LIVING

Start the morning with coffee on the deck, soak in the hot tub after a day on the slopes, or relax around the gas fire pit as the sun sets over the golf course. Outdoor dining and lounge seating make it easy to enjoy time together.

MOONRIDGE LOCATION

Approximate driving times, depending on traffic and weather:
- Bear Mountain: 2 minutes
- Alpine Zoo and golf course: 2 minutes
- The Village: 7 minutes
- Big Bear Lake: 10 minutes
- Popular hiking trails are nearby

ARRIVAL AND PARKING

Self check-in with a smart lock begins at 4 PM. Checkout is at 11 AM. A maximum of 2 vehicles is allowed: one inside the garage and one directly in front of the garage, fully off the street. No additional parking is available, and street parking is not permitted.

WINTER TRAVEL

Snow and icy roads are possible. Check weather and road conditions before traveling, and carry tire chains when required. Keep vehicles off the street so snowplows can pass safely.

SUMMER COOLING

The cabin does not have central air conditioning. A portable AC unit is provided seasonally from June through September.

IMPORTANT STAY DETAILS

- Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM.
- The indoor fireplace is decorative only; do not burn wood. An electric heater insert is available by remote and should be switched off after use.
- The BBQ and fire pit use propane. If a tank runs out, guests may exchange it at a gas station, and we will reimburse the cost.
- Before departure, guests must take trash to a Clean Bear Disposal Site, wash dirty dishes and leave the BBQ as they found it. Additional cleaning charges may apply if these tasks are not completed.
- Guests must sign the Good Neighbor compliance policy after booking, as required for short-term stays in Big Bear Lake.
