Amazing 4th of July Getaway
The two of us had an amazing and relaxing stay over the fourth of July. The property owner contacted us with a free upgrade to Brooke's Bridle Sweet to compensate for a lack of bubbles in the first cabin's Jacuzzi. The place was very clean, full of all the bear essentials, and very private. Lorraine (sorry if we spelled it wrong) made check in and out a breeze and made sure we had everything we needed. The view of the fireworks on the 4th from the front porch was breathtaking, and we even cooked some burgers on their charcoal grill in the back. We plan to stay there again and absolutely loved the whole experience! Bonus points: The location is a straight shot down Knickerbocker Ave to the free parking lot downtown, right next to all the shopping and food. Even within walking distance of the bowling alley and sporting goods store.

Lovely private getaway
We loved all the little details to the cabin. There was plenty of room inside, and out, so you don't feel crowded with neighboring cabins. We loved the HUGE tub and fireplace. We will definitely be back..

My wife and I had a wonderful time in this warm cozy cabin in the middle of the snow storm and the snow plow guy kept our drive way clear the best he could considering the conditions

Cozy cabin near the village
The cabin was recently renovated and very cozy. We loved the jacuzzi tub, skylights, and fireplace! It was less than a 10 minute walk to the village so it’s great for going out and exploring without needing your car. I would definitely book here again!

Jeep weekend
We had a nice stay in Big Bear at the cabin. Very close to the village. The only thing missing was a way to cook anything. Other than that our stay was nice. Bed was comfortable and love that they are dog friendly.

Great time Great place
Jessica was great from the time that we had booked the cabin through our whole stay. Anything we needed she was their and our dog loved her to. Very close to village for me, the wife, and the dog to walk to each day and was near all the trails we wanted to go hiking on. Plan to visit again soon as a nice getaway when we need to.

Private and close to village. Beautiful view, fireplace was nice. Overall a little weathered, needs upgrading, beds are uncomfortable, linens were washed in very scented detergent or softner(not great for people with asthma and allergies, broke out in rash) and sheets did not fit on bed, kept coming off. Barbecue out back was rusted, no brush to clean so couldn not use and refrigerator was not operating upon arrival. Burner hot plate very small, could use a larger and newer one. Manager was very accomodating upon arrival and brough a ice chest when told fridge was not working. Never saw or heard back from her again after that day though.

Hi Bethany, I am surprised to read your review. I wish you had made mention of allergies as we do keep a scent free detergent and softener on hand. We do use Persil Pro Clean detergent and Gain Original softener. I'm sorry you did not enjoy the cabin. The refrigerator was actually working when I came in after your check out. I assumed that was why neither of you made mention of it the second day. Especially as I offered to move you to another cabin. It's always my goal to do what I can to make our guests vacation as comfortable as possible without being intrusive. Perhaps you missed my follow up text prior to your review. If the stone I recovered is yours, I'd be happy to ship it to you. Thank you for the feedback. Absolutely amazing
This cabin was super adorable, they had access to outdoor barbecues for guests to use from all the different cabins, it is within walking distance of village drive which is a very fun place to spend some time and shop around. The host was incredibly nice and responded to any and all questions or concerns we had in a very timely manner and overall my partner and I had a lovely weekend. We are definitely looking into going back!

Perfect for our little weekend get away! Tub was great, good experience for the pet! We’ll be back!
It was just close enough for us to walk to the village but still be out of earshot from it. Cute and cozy! My partner was in the tub before we even unloaded the car! Was disappointed that not all of the jets were working though. But really great staff and location. Perfect for a couple and pet! Appreciated the pet blanket and towels! The space heater definitely saves you! The logs took a long time to catch fire so you had to keep the gas on longer than 15 minutes. But we’ll definitely use this property again!

I loved this little cabin getaway. I booked this location for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. Long story short, the day we were supposed to leave, we found out we both tested positive for COVID-19. I chatted with the property manager and let me tell you, not only did they respond incredibly fast, but they also accommodated us by allowing us to reschedule for a time we would be COVID free. We were so excited and thankful that this problem was so easy to fix and was a great start to our experience. Check in was easy and fast. The cabin is cozy, yet it was comfortable and perfect for what we were looking for. We are also in college and there was a lot of room to sit and focus on our classes. After a day of snowboarding (Snow summit is about a 7 minute drive away) we had a quick drive to the town for dinner and walking under the lights. It was beautiful!! Perfect way to end off the day...we suggest checking out Saucy Mama's, that pizza was perfect! Lastly, day of checkout was again, easy and fast. We left the cabin and to finish off our experience we of course had to feed the llamas. What a great way to end our short trip to Big Bear. Thank you so much for a fun, easy and enjoyable experience in the coziest cabin!

Thanks for your awesome review! We hope school is going well, but we want to make sure you're taking time to relax, recharge and get some fresh air. The days are getting longer and the snow is almost melted, but that just means it's time for summer fun Big Bear style: Zip Lines, Helicopter and Jeep tours, Mountain Biking, hiking, recently remodeled zoo and rescue; and our fantastic 4th of July Fireworks display. The in-room jacuzzi and the llamas are waiting.
