Moonridge Mountain Ski Cabin is a fully remodeled Gambrel-style Big Bear cabin, nestled in the peaceful natural setting of Moonridge, just 1.3 miles from Bear Mountain Resort. This retreat offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay.

✓ Cozy Living Area: Relax by the fire in front of the wood-burning stove. The living room features super comfy sofas, including a reclining sofa and a pull-out bed, as well as a rocking recliner. Watch your favorite shows or movies on the large flatscreen TV.

✓ Dining Area: The dining area offers a large table with seating for six and additional seating at the breakfast bar, perfect for keeping the cook company while they prepare a great meal.

Simple and Sweet

Nice little cabin for our family and friends to stay for a quick little ski weekend. Older but clean. The kids loved the hot tub and the game room and piled on the cozy couches to watch tv. Would have liked some upgraded pots / pans / silverware. The non-stick was wearing off some of the pans. Coffee maker water tank needed a good cleaning before making coffee. But greatly appreciated the extra filters since we brought the wrong ones with us. Had a very enjoyable stay! Would come again! Thank you!

Very nice, clean, comfortable cabin. Manager was very helpful and responsive. When we had a slight problem with the grill, they sent someone right over to help. Would definitely recommend!

Check-in made easy

Check-in was super easy. It was quiet and nice in the area of the the stay. Only issue we had was that there was a lot of moths inside. For the most part, this wasn’t a huge impact, more of a minor inconvenience. Overall great stay!

Very nice place

Had everything we needed for a nice getaway. Warm, cozy, comfy. Had central heating and let us bring our doggies. Very close to town. We BBQ’d, chilled in the hot tub, played games and of course went to the slopes. I liked how Destination Big Bear kept communication easy with SMS texts. Would recommend and would check out any of their other homes.

Base camp for Bear Mountain

Good place for our ski weekend. It's fairly deep into the neighborhood so about 10 minutes to stores and resort. Upstairs shower needs new fixtures and both doors deadbolts need some adjustment, but otherwise nice and roomy cabin. Pot belly stove added coziness (be sure to get firewood beforehand). Wish the Spectrum account had more than base package as I was hoping to catch my local team's game and had to settle for ESPN only.

Great cabin

We had a great time staying here. The jacuzzi was amazing. The place was clean and warm when we arrived. The property managers Destination Big Bear were responsive and helpful. Some amenities were not provided: No shampoo or conditioner provided Kitchen didn’t have towels or oven mitts No towels for the jacuzzi

Perfect mountain cabin

We loved our cabin stay in Big Bear. It was clean, cozy, and was in a beautiful neighborhood. The kids loved having stairs and the game room and we loved the hot tub, the fireplace, and the kitchen. Having 2 bathrooms was super helpful with 2 families. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you!
