We enjoyed our stay at the camp. The staff were all great and the rooms were really good. We would like to stay there again. I hope in the future they have more activities.

It was literally 4 miles into the desert. That made it awesome. However, the ambience was negligible. The staff wore t-shirts with the company name. Some ethnic appearances and music would have added a nice touch. The food was adequate with the grilled meats tasting of charcoal. Nothing special about this place other than the location. It's really too bad. It has great potential but needs some guidance and enthusiasm

The desert camp were not expecting us, although we had booked through Expedia. We were asked to contact the camp 48 hours before arrival and despite sending two emails asking for directions I had no response from them. Luckily the attendant at the petrol station gave us a map to find the camp. Our welcome at the camp was lukewarm and we didn’t feel that this was a true Omani desert experience.

Beautiful....value for money !
Very beautiful and scenic place with good food and complete value for money....however the signs to the camp need to improve as we arrived after dark and found it difficult to find the turn from the main road.

Die Anreise wäre auch selbst möglich gewesen, ich habe aber den Abholservice genommen, da ich keinen AWD hatte. Es standen auch Autos ohne AWD auf dem Parkplatz, aber die erste Auffahrt in die Wüste ca. 200m ist schon anspruchsvoll. Der Abholservice war pünktlich und ist mit 100Km/h durch die Wüste gefahren. Das Camp liegt sehr schön an einer Düne, ist nicht überlaufen und das Essen war sehr gut für die Gegebenheiten. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber wie auch die ganze Anlage. Eine Übernachtung reicht, ich habe zwei gemacht und den Tag einfach genossen ohne Ausflüge. Ansonsten kann man auch Quad fahren (ca. 500m entfernt) oder Kamelreiten etc.

Soirée magique dans le désert!
Arrivée avec notre 4x4 de location après 30 min de route dans le désert. Première expérience fascinante. Accueil chaleureux. Les chambres sont très bien et surtout très propres. Coucher de soleil depuis la dune principale ( grimpette d’une 50aine de mètres ) coucher de soleil envoutant. Repas du soir bon sans plus. Cinéma sous les étoiles ( Aladin) . Parfait

The property is lying in the desert and is surrounded by dunes. It is very peaceful and calming. Unfortunately, there is no credit card terminal, so if you need to settle your bill for the shuttle you have to pay cash! This is kinda weird, since it is clearly stated, that you can pay by card. The gas station is also not offering public parking, so you need to park your car at an abandoned building. Oman is pretty safe, don’t get me wrong, but is still gives you a weird feeling, leaving the car at that place.

Super moment de déconnexion
Un superbe endroit pour déconnecter. Pas de wifi, de télévision. Juste de jolis paysages et une folle envie d en profiter. Possibilité de venir en 4x4 pour 32 OMR. Activités proposées sur place. Film le soir sur un matelas. Une corde pour grimper la dune et aller voir le coucher du soleil. Un superbe souvenir gravé.

Pioggia nel Deserto
La giornata è stata particolare perché pioveva! Si uno va nel deserto e trova la pioggia comunque la struttura ha saputo organizzare una cena di emergenza ma le attività sono state impedite. Bella emozione scalare al mattino la duna rossa posta attaccata alla struttura il panorama da li sù vale lo sforzo. Troppo caro il transfert in giornate non piovose so arriva anche con una macchina normale

Positiv: Einfache und gut beschilderte Anreise (mit 4x4 einfach und gut machbar), viele Möglichkeiten für Aktivitäten vor Ort (Dune Dashing, Camel rides), Essen ausreichend abwechslungsreich und qualitativ gut, schönes Ambiente, über Seil kann die Düne hoch klettern und traumhafte Sonnenaufgänge und -Untergänge beobachten, die Camel Sundown Tour ist zu empfehlen - netter Guide, Zelte cooles Ambiente Negativ: eigentlich relativ wenig, wenn man 2 Nächte vor Ort ist, wären etwas mehr Optionen zur Unterhaltung gut, Relax-Bereich vor den Zelten, Liegen für Sterne schauen wären cool

Super hôtel, le cadre est magnifique, si vous souhaitez y aller par vos propres moyens je vous conseille de prendre un 4x4, la route est très sableuse mais vous pouvez demander à l’hôtel de venir vous chercher. Pas d’internet mais ça ne nous a pas posé de problème. Le petit déjeuner y est bon et le dîner très bon. L’ambiance est agréable, le personnel est là pour vous aider au cas où

Un bon moment dans le désert
Nous souhaitions passer une nuit dans le désert et être dépaysés, nous n'avons pas été déçus ! L'hotel est accessible en suivant une piste (4x4 obligatoire). Les installations sont de bonnes facture, le personnel est aidant mais s'efface pour laisser place au calme du lieu, le petit déjeuner et le diner sont inclus. Nous recommandons.

Très bele expérience
Très belle expérience d’héberger dans le désert ! Un accès aisé et bien indiqué sur 15 km de piste. Prestations plus que correctes compte tenu de l’emplacement :logements propres, abords sécurisés,restaurations sous forme de buffet largement suffisant. Une nuitée suffit pour faire les activités proposées : 4*4 dans les dunes, luges et ballade en chameau Je conseille !

Chouette camp offrant des tentes et bungalows en dure au milieu du désert. Le camp est de taille acceptable (pas trop grand), très propre. Bons repas. Diner avec un petit groupe de musicien et feu de bois. Quelques activités, mais limitées: promenade en dromadaire, dune bashing, montée à pied avec corde de la dune à proximité (c'est physique mais superbe vue).

Un havre de confort au milieu du désert
Une halte très agréable, dans cet oasis de verdure, d'ombre et de confort, au milieu du désert. Accès aisé, avec un SUV, depuis le village de Al Wasil. C'est très bien fléché. L'observation nocturme du ciel étoilé est un peu gênée par des projecteurs hyper puissants qui éclairent inutilement les dunes voisines toute la nuit.

Posto affascinante. Purtroppo in bassa stagione ( temperature eccessive) e quindi vuoto. Stavano facendo alcuni lavori di ristrutturazione per la nuova stagione ma non hanno dato alcun problema. Sevizio ottimo, personale molto attento. Il giorno del nostro arrivo c’era una piccola tempesta di sabbia e quindi abbiamo affittato i quad la mattina dopo

Ruhiges und kleineres Camp in der Wüste
Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt von 2 Nächten, der auch für die Wüste ausreichend ist. Wir hatten 1 Tag das Camp für uns alleine zum relaxen und morgens/abends Aktivitäten gebucht. Alles in allem super. Essen auch sehr gut!

A 20 km de AL wasil , par une piste facile en 4*4 , juste la première montée un peu raide , bon dîner et petit déjeuner en formule buffet . Grande dune à gravir à pied pour voir le coucher et lever de soleil

Schönes Wüstencamp mit tollen Dünen direkt dahinte
Toller Wüstenaufenthalt im absolut authentischen Camp. Für tolle Dünenbilder muss man gerade mal 50 Meter bergauf gehen und schon ist man mittendrin.

Magnifique expérience
Une magnifique expérience qui a surpassé nos attentes. Le camp est tres confortable et agréable, à taille humaine et la nourriture excellente. Possibilité de grimper sur les dunes à pied depuis l'hôtel en s'aidant d'une corde. Nous sommes allés seuls en 4x4, accès très facile à part la première montée un peu plus délicate.

Bijzondere ligging zo midden in de woestijn, je kunt er leuk de duinen op klimmen en de zonsopkomst of ondergang bekijken. We verbleven in een tent, die staan iets weg van de stenen huisjes wat wel prettig is omdat je net wat meer privacy hebt. Niet heel bijzonder of luxe maar zeker leuk voor een nachtje.
