Extremely difficult access. Very disappointed that the parking was full and there was no mention to us about specific parking reservations. Would not go crack to this particular hotel again. We had much better luck with other Mercure hotels in the past. Very disappointed by the very very small room.

Good location, uninterested staff
Good location, but hotel not at the same level as other Mercure Hotels. Chaima at the reception was helpful, but the manager had a negative attitude. In general they could explain better the different possibilities that the city can offer. They pretend to be busy, but in reality were uninterested to show what can someone do, during the Feria de Beziers, which was the highlight of the week.

Poorly managed hotel
Room was newly renovated but there was no safe in the room. We were informed at checkin that there would be no housekeeping services. There was only one partially used roll of toilet paper. Breakfast was poor; stale bread (hard to believe in a French hotel), rotten fruit wrapped in plastic, a bit of ham. Front desk completely messed up our bill on departure as well. When we complained all of this was blamed on COVID and not even an apology was offered. This is far below my experience with other Accor hotels and particularly a four star one.

The property was fine, but nothing special. Staff was friendly, but the general experience was just okay. Two things that stick out in my mind: There is no reason breakfast should cost 20 Euros per person. The room was just over 80 Euros, so breakfast for two of us for two days would have doubled our bill. This makes no sense, especially when we have had excellent dinners in Beziers, with wine and dessert for that price. Anything over 10 Euros for breakfast is exploitation. Also, the hotel was very slow (not many people). Not sure why they put us on a floor being renovated. Walls being drilled in the morning didn't make us feel very welcome.

Hotel very small rooms and I mean very small rooms. Heating excessive had to sleep with window ajar to compensate. Paid for a breakfast and Mercure pride themselves on their bacon and eggs to the extent of advertising them on posters in their hotels. Our breakfast cold nothing. The attendant told us they had forgotten to buy the breakfast ingredients so all they had to offer was cereal, a little cold meat and cheese and some pastries. Standard two stars and one of the worst Mercure we have stayed in. Try Mercure Avignon or Mercure Albi if you want a proper Mercure.

BEZIERS MERCURE HOTEL, EXCELLENT STAY.
Hotel Mercure Beziers provides an excellent generous and delicious breakfast choice. Staff were highly efficient and friendly, Room was very clean and spacious. Hotel is 10 mins. walk to bus station and 15 mins by taxi to rail station, Beziers, its beautiful surroundings including the prized Canal du Midi are easy to explore. Parks, outdoor restaurants and shops are nearby and an excellent Tourist Office. Bus trips to beaches are only 20-30 mins. I also visited the extremely beautiful little town of Merseillan with its lovely marina, enjoyed an excellent lunch en pleine air in one of the quai restaurants, and did a most informative and fascinating tour of its Noilly Prat factory _ France's most delicious and prestigious range of vermouths all 4 of which I sampled. I can highly recommend a trip to this region of s.w. mediterranean France and intend to return.

OK - Not great, but not awful
This hotel is located right in the centre of Beziers - a non descript modernish building. The rooms are undeniably small, and the breakfast is definitely not worth paying for. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, and the aircon worked a treat. The shower was dated, and ridiculously complicated....Overall - reasonable value for money, but I would look elsewhere if I returned.

Good location. Very small room.
Check in was Good. But the room was very small and there was no place to keep our cases. We havre moved into disable persons room to get more space. Staff were friendly and helpful but some of them have problem with English language.

Nice surprise
Staying at Mercure for the first time and was very pleasently surprised. Very comfortable if smallish room and the bed was big enough for two to stretch out. The staff were very helpful; they loaned us a knife and bottle opener for a picnic and when we didn't want a full breakfast were happy for us to just grab a coffee. The hotel is not far from the centre and while the street isn't pretty it was fine. Only gripe was the porthole between bedroom and bathroom which meant that the sleeping area lit up if you used the loo in the night!

Great stay
Very friendly staff! Good location and very comfortable rooms. However, hotel is a little dated and could do with a refresh - particularly the bathrooms. Breakfast was fantastic.

A regrettable choice
This Hotel we would not rate the 4 star grade more like 3. Hotels own website stated privilage rooms were suites this was advised on check inthat this was a mistake and will have to be removed. rooms were cold and advised heating not on till 01 Nov. Breakfast was an experience selection was not replenished without calling on staff who also attended the check ins/ reception desk poor selection of fruit and scrambled eggs was something else.

Booked this for our first night in France and a chance to look round Beziers before moving on. Location was central, maybe 5-10 minutes walk from the old part of town 10-15 minutes walk from the cathedral. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean and modern. The major criticism, and the reason that I would only stay there again if I had to, was that the room was very, very cramped. It was tiny. There was actually more space to move around in the shower room! We were given a complementary bottle of water in the room fridge, which was nice, but facilities for making tea/coffee were so basic, they may as well not have bothered. Glad we saw Beziers, but wouldn't recommend spending more than a night there, unless you were using it as a base for exploring.

Hotel comfortable staff very helpful room small but adequate for short stay we stayed 3 nights and do not travel light so needed to ask for more hangers no drawer space only shelves Air conditioning worked first night but the next two nights not working spoke to reception on the Monday morning but no better Monday night so had to open window and found it very noisy from early morning.

Bezier's is a beautiful city and the Mercure Hotel is nearby the city sites. A great hotel for the price.

Room was small but comfortable (I was solo but too small for a couple). No restaurant for dinner but hotel provides a [very] limited room service menu. Good breakfast. Hotel should not charge for parking, which was 10 euros per night.

Good location, great value.
We stayed here one evening before traveling the Canal du Midi. Nice room. Small like most European hotels. The staff spoke English and were just lovely. It made our stay wonderful.

Budget hotel near centre
Chosen for one night near the centre but on the East so easy to get out to the airport. The hotel is fine for a short stay but a little lacking in 'soul'. I wouldn't stay there for longer. The breakfast was good quality with Nespresso coffee. Rooms big enough and not too small. Our room had wood on the wall which made it seem a little dark and we faced a block of flats. Complimentary WIFI and bottle of drinking water. Beziers itself is the let down. A small area has been done up but wander away from the centre and it is poor. We found it difficult to find anywhere to eat that suited us.

Pleasant stay in Mercure but rooms are small with little room to put clothes or suitcases. We were there for 3 nights which was manageable but due to the lack of space I won't recommend a longer stay

Very short visit - Enjoyed Bezier - First time in Mercure hotel - great location, parking facility v useful, no evening meal but plenty of nearby restaurants - would stay again.
