- Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
We stayed one night at the height of the coronavirus crisis. Most of the facility was closed and we never met the staff. It is a grand old hotel, a throwback to the old days, with a grand piano in the lobby, a reading area and pictures and statues from the past. The building, halls, and common areas are clean but tired. The rooms have been completely remodeled, clean, and brought up to date. The main purpose of writing the review is this - the washroom has beautiful new stone tiles. Unfortunately they are extremely slippery when you step out the shower. Dangerously so. This must be ameliorated or some elderly person is going to have a very nasty fall.
