"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. The pool area is relaxing and picturesque, while our gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope we can come backa again soon, "

"Plutôt déçu de ce séjour et voici pourquoi : Points forts : la quiétude du lieu, le paysage, le côté typique des gîtes, la localisation géographique pour les visites Points négatifs : chemin d’accès très étroit et rempli de trous, compliqué de retrouver sa chambre dans les différents gîtes présents dans le hameau car pas d’indications (il suffirait d’avoir un petit plan au niveau des parkings!), organisation médiocre (nom de la chambre pas reçu, idem pour le code de la boîte à clef). "On my first evening there to check in, I was given an entry code with instructions on how to self check in. The steps provided were exactly as explained to me on the phone. I would have prefered if someone were there to greet me but at least I had access. At the hotel I stayed at before Naad Hotel, was in Arles and the front desk personnel over there kindly allowed me to use his phone to reach Hotel Naad. He knew that I was in a quandry, and helped me. When I entered my room, it was a bit cramped and the dark colors of the room did not help. The interior lights had awkward placing so that was not that convenient. The bedside light fixtures reminded me of extendable desk lamps that engineers use. The town of Sarlat la Caneda itself is very charming and lovely, so that helped."

"Absolutely beautiful new hotel. Warm welcome on arival and excellent show around and room check in. The room was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. Separate living area, bedroom bathroom and private terrace. Nice to have air-conditioning during the hot weather. The pool was lovely and also over seen by the bar staff who give you a bottle of chilled water when you get there. The bbq on a friday is certainly worth doing the food and cocktail were amazing 5 out of 5 for everything."

"This is beautiful and quirky hotel in an old part of the town centre of Souillac. Owners appeared to be welcoming and charismatic. Lady owner communicates in English if struggling to speak in French. Rooms presented to be very nice and clean, while beds very comfortable. Bathroom appeared to be clean but would benefit from a little renovation. There is shower in the bathtub but no rail to attach it, which was a little bit inconvenient. There is cafe and dinning room downstairs, which seems to attract a lot of locals. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, though I would personally rather have something to eat elsewhere. Hygiene standards in the dinning room are not what I am used to, and are somehow low."
