Villa Michelangelo Vicenza – Starhotels Collezione

Villa Michelangelo Vicenza – Starhotels Collezione

10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay at Villa Michelangelo! We only stayed for 2 nights but wished we stayed longer. The staff were so friendly and helpful and there was a real feeling of luxury here. We loved the swimming pool and the beautiful grounds and it was quiet even though we stayed in mid-July and there were plenty of other guests around. The location is fantastic as you are up in the hills with incredible views and quiet scenery but then can easily get to Verona or Venice for a day out and Vicenza is also a lovely town, only about 15 minutes drive away, but what a beautiful drive it was! From Vicenza, you can get the train to Venice in under an hour. Plenty of parking available too. We had dinner at the hotel one night and although it was a little on the expensive side, we had a sensational burger and the service was lovely and the outdoor terrace a beautiful spot. The bedroom was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was the only thing that let it down as it was very small and quite dark. The bath was actually a bit dangerous, as it was moulded to have a sort of seat at one end but it meant the floor of the tub isn’t smooth and you could easily lose your footing, especially in the dark. The bath wasn’t full size so probably better to just replace with a walk in shower. Breakfast was taken in yet another beautiful room and the buffet was good. I would highly recommend this hotel and will come back!"

"Really lovely hotel, very clean and modern. Staff were very helpful despite the language barrier. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh and the pool was clean and never very crowded. Very close to the station where you can get to Verona or Venice directly. San Bonifacio is a nice town, not a lot going on but a few nice restaurants and a nice pub."

"A little bit outdated hotel but it did have all we needed, secluded areas, very quiet and you can actually use all facilities at the other 2 hotel buildings, we only had breakfast included wich could be little better but overall we where really happy for what we paid for that hotel in July speciall thanks to the receptionist at night ,they were very nice and helpful"

Relais Castello Bevilacqua

Relais Castello Bevilacqua

8/10 Good
"The staff were friendly but not very helpful. There were a lot of steps to our rooms and no one to help carry bags, this was very difficult. The room itself was very cool and we felt like royalty in our room. The grounds were immaculate and the castle, especially at night, was both eerie and beautiful at the same. We definitely enjoyed our short stay."

What is a historic hotel like in Bevilacqua?
Guests who choose historic hotels have the opportunity to stay in a building recognised with a national historic designation.
