This is one of the best boutique hotels we've stayed in. The rooms with the panoramic windows are excellent and worth the slight extra cost. The downstairs common areas are excellent and fun. And you cannot beat the location. Highly recommended.

Internet was not the best, but it was OK. As a place to stay in the city center. It’s very nice. However, the staff gave me the key to the storage room which happens to be in the basement:
One – serious security breach given that other people‘s luggage was in there. My own had my computer.
Two – it’s in the basement requiring older people to carry and find their way without any instructions.
Seem careless, and this was the general attitude of the staff towards their guestsa

Great spot hidden in the German Countryside !
"Hotel Herzog Georg is a real gem hidden in rural Germany. The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb. Lots of walking opportunities around town ..."
