"As a whole, the hotel was fairly clean and some parts had been more recently updated. The outside looked shabby with peeling paint. 2nd floor hall smelled of cigarette and Marijuana. Some doors were in disrepair and our shower curtain rod was rusted. One if the most disappointing things was that they said our room had 2 queen beds, but they were only full size!!!! Breakfast was decent."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Had to turn on the heater while I was there since it had turned cold. Took a while for it to warm up. It was convenient to everywhere I needed to go and the breakfast was better than expected with a pancake making machine, scrambled eggs and sausage etc. A nice surprise"

"Paid for parking, but when I came back that evening, no parking spot was available. Was told at the front desk that they didn’t process of reserving the spot, so someone else got it. No heat in the room, was only blowing out cold air. Had to turn off the blower and get a space heater to try to warm up the room. The temperature in the room was in the low 60s. A vent in the bathroom was covered with a heavy layer of dust."

"We water run for 10-15 minites and then it should get hot. There were 2 towels and 1 washcloth in the bathroom. The gentleman in the morning was nice and polite and reconfirmed to turn the water on 15-20 minutes to get hot. I dont have time for that. "

"Everything was great! Clean, well organized, very friendly staff! Lovely breakfast. Go visit Basil and Vine across the way. Terrific food and wine list and very gracious owner and wait staff!"

"Great breakfast/bar staff. The check-in system was down when I checked in, so I was unable to access my room for nearly half an hour. I found room cleaning to be done every other day, which left me in a bit of a pickle when the shower dispenser ran out on an off day, but I was able to get a bar of soap from Reception to tide me over."

"Well preserved historic building. We would definitely stay there again. It was $22 per day to self park on property but the location was perfect for us so that wasn’t an issue."
