Right on the beach, ocean view

Really nice! This condo was clean and well-appointed, and very comfortable for 7 people to sleep. We were pleasantly surprised by the spectacular views of ocean and sunrise, and so easy to go on and off the beach. Only critique is that communications were a bit confusing because the property management company sends so many agreements and emails... we weren't clear if linens were included (they are!) and what the exact deal was with beach passes and parking passes. We ended up having to spend extra $ on beach passes, and getting a parking ticket for staying in the garage too long. But otherwise, I highly recommend this property!

Sea Colony Clutter

This property looks great in pics but in reality it is best up and worn out. Sliding doors to den were broken and useless. TVs that kinda worked, wifi that kinda worked. Just seems like it’s been rented a ton and not well cared for. Plus I had to clean the tub cuz of gunk one there when we got there and the toilet cuz there was time in the seat. Gross! I hate cleaning my own bathrooms - cleaning my vacation bathroom is the pits!

Not clean and outdated unit

The location of the building was nice. The unit was not clean and outdated. Furniture was stained and outdated. We found someone else’s underwear in the bedroom, cheerios and tic-tacs on the floor, food on the dishes, dining room lights did not work, tv in bedroom didn’t work, broken bedroom door, bed frame not attached to headboard and zero wifi the entire time. We had zero help from the staff when I inquired with them via text, phone and face to face. I was told 3 times that someone would call me to discuss my concerns and I never heard from anyone.

Great location but unit needs work

We loved the location but would stay in a different unit next time. This unit lacked enough dishes, the furniture looked old, dirty and worn, none of the blinds actually fit the windows, one window even had a blanket hanging over and clipped to the blinds, a cabinet was broken, old and dirty bath mats, lights didn’t work, and rusty/broken patio chairs! Really just needs to be fully updated!

Space is great, complex you need to know items

The unit was good, reasonable apportioned, clean, near the beach and Bethany boardwalk. Kitchen pot and pans are super thin so be careful and there is no exhaust for the stove or oven so cooking bacon is a problem. Sliding door to one of the bedrooms does not work well and does not give any privacy. Covid has greatly reduced amenities which is not mentioned anywhere when you book. Pools, workout facilities, hottubs, sauna, etc.. may not be available or greatly limited. Also, several adjacent buildings are being renovated so parking is a mess and you park where you can, not in a designated spot. Finally, check in and out is a mess. You have to go to another building across the street which I could not find in my reservation information and except for being gone by 10, have no idea what the expectation was for checkout. I am giving the unit 4 stars and the complex 2 stars, Vacasa gets 2 stars.

Terrible

Check in was easy and view was spectacular...that is about all the positive feedback I can give. For starters, we purchased the linen package. There is NO WAY our bedspreads were EVER laundered. My brother-in-law's room actually had a leaf and dirt on his bedspread. We received 3 rolls of 1 ply toilet paper to last 4 people for a week and 1 roll of very thin paper towels. No dish soap, or basics of any kind. Secondly, the furniture is so disgusting, I actually had to use some of the sheets from our linen package to put over the sofa! Finally, there was construction on the balconies on building to the right of us...about 12 feet away for 3 of the days we were there (beginning at 7:30am). All of the workers were smoking and apparently other neighbors thought it was us, so we had TWO visits from "Bill, the security guy" telling us not to smoke...despite the fact that we told him we don't smoke on his first visit. I don't know if all of the properties in the Sea Colony are the same, but I will NEVER stay there again.

Ocean front therapy

The units ocean front view and access made it very simple to enjoy our vacation and relax. The condo was nice, but some of the furniture needs to be upgraded. Overall we would stay there again.
