Great Property
This townhome is perfectly located in SeaColony. I found the house to actually be more spacious than the pictures show online. The owner is super attentive and proactive with connecting prior to your stay and was available for any questions that we had. The home was stocked with everything that we needed with plenty of toys/games for the kids.

Great house for family vacation
This is a wonderful place to rent! Communication with the owner is quick, check in is super easy, and the home has everything you need! The location is a short walk to a playground and some of the pools, and it was easy to drive and park at the other pools and beach. The area is a great place to just walk around too, as there are lots of paths. Our family had a great time!

Great getaway spot
This comfortable and lovely home was perfect for our stay. The host was easy to communicate with and gave great instructions for check out and check in. The home was clean, furnished with more than we needed, and well maintained. We will stay here again should we visit Bethany Beach.

Excellent stay!
Always an excellent stay on the Sea Colony complex. Roy's home is large and spacious, yet warm and cozy. This lovely home was perfect: very neat and clean with plenty of towels, beautiful outdoor scenery, awesome beach stuff and pool- floaters and wonderful wifi! Thank you for a excellent stay!

Amazing property!
We came for a family summer vacation and were delighted! The property was clean and well-appointed for a family of any age range. The property owner, Roy, was super helpful and organized and the location is amazing - close to the private beach and downtown Bethany Beach. Such a fun getaway!

Already planning our return!
This was a perfect place for my family vacation. We've stayed at Sea Colony before, and Roy's house felt much bigger than other places. The house went above and beyond expectations and was fully stocked with the things a family needs for a beach vacation. From toddler rails on beds to beach toys and tools, we won't need to pack as much the next time we come! Thanks for letting us stay Roy!

Wonderful time as usual. Spacious accommodations with all the beach equipment you could need. Close to tram pick up, two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, and the fitness center. Great grill for outdoor cooking. Quiet cul-de-sac for enjoyable evenings.

All worked out in the end.
While the start of our trip had a few hiccups in the end it was a great vacation. Roy was very helpful and prompt at handling the problems that came up (at no fault to him or us). The pictures for the property are very vague so I had a lot of questions and got responses very quickly. We do a lot of cooking in and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The garage space was nice for storing bikes and such. All around a good place to stay.

Nice place with textile deficiencies
When we arrived, all the bed sheets were heaped on the floor in front all of the washer but had not been washed. We had to launder all and make the beds and there was very little laundry soap available. All the bath towels were also piled on the floor and had not been washed. I reported these issues to Roy and he apologized and graciously processed an adjustment to compensate us for the trouble and sent a cleaning crew the next day which was not necessary because we had already washed the sheets and towels. There were only 6 bath towels in the unit so if you come with a large group, you may want to bring extra towels. The unit did not provide any hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen wash cloths or towels. Other than the laundry issues and lack of textiles, most other aspects of the unit were nice and we enjoyed our stay after working through the initial challenges.

Our second visit. Just as wonderful!
Another wonderful stay. House is always very clean and has lots of amenities that make it comfortable for families with young kids (gates for steps, toy box etc). Short walk to one of the outdoor heated pools. Nothing but positives to say. We will be back again and again!

Perfect for families
We decided to book a mini-getaway last minute and Roy was very accommodating and readily available to answer any questions we had. The house was spacious for the seven of us ... and I loved that Roy offered linens/towels at no added cost. He even had beach toys and tennis equipment, which we certainly appreciated not having to pack and bring along. If you’re looking for a place to stay with the family, this is it! Thanks again!!

Everything you Need for a Beach House
Awesome house. Great location and ample parking. House was clean; had everything you needed for linens and pillows, spaces for kids and plenty of room for 6 adults in our party and no one was tripping over anyone else. Great outdoor spaces too with a front and a back patio (back is screened in). Only downside was it is a little drive to the beach but having the Sea Colony parking pass (we couldn't take the Tram after Labor Day) wasn't a big problem. Just load the car and drive 5 minutes. We will definitely be wanting to go back.

The property checked all our boxes for needs. Convenient, clean, and comfortable. The amenities of the resort are many and an activity pass could be worth the investment. Great location for families with adult kids as well as youngins.

First time in Sea Colony and it was great - midway between all the beach towns and very convenient to the beach with the tram. Kids loved all the pools. Roy was incredibly helpful and responsive.

Great family location
The owner was quick to respond to any questions or problems that arose. We appreciated the space the town house afforded our group. Very close to the tram. Pool and fitness center around the corner. Easy to get to the beach. The couches in the living area need an update, but otherwise everything was in good condition. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful property, perfectly located for very relaxes pool & beach holiday
We loved Roy's property and had a really excellent week there. It was great having a swimming pool just a couple of minutes walk way, and the private beach less than a mile away. The house is in a very quiet community - perfect for families and kids. Roy was also an excellent host: his communication for impeccable and he helped us out with a couple of non-house related problems we had (broken down car!) I'd highly recommend this property. Thanks Roy - we hope to be back in the future!

Amazing stay!
We had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to next year! Roy was responsive, kind, and super easy to work with. The house was perfect and we especially appreciated the wonderful kid items: a large bin of indoor toys, beach toys, toddler bed rails, a high chair, and a pack and play. We loved that linens, towels, and some paper and cleaning supplies were provided. Sea Colony is amazing and we greatly enjoyed the beach, pools, and tennis courts. The off season is a perfect time to go to Bethany. No crowds, beautiful weather, and warm water at the beach. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful!!
We really enjoyed our stay at sea colony despite the weather. Roy is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Our 18 month old grandson and his parents joined us for 3 days. They really appreciated all of the amenities for young children. The townhouse was very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend vacationing here.

Outstanding owner
Beautiful, comfortable, well laid out place. Owner, Roy, is very quick to respond to questions. Sea colony has activity fees that you have to pay to get parking passes even if you don’t use the services. I’m pretty sure it said that on the ad. You are getting trolley service (in the summer), and access to pools (indoor and outdoor, some heated), gyms, tennis courts and lots of nice walking/biking trails and, of course, the beach for those fees, though. We especially liked that we could walk into Bethany—it’s under 2 miles—perfect for burning off the ice cream you eat. Thanks to Roy and vrbo for having our family together in a comfortable place with a decent kitchen, plenty of table space, good WiFi, and good dvd/vcr access to watch movies.

Sea colony and Bethany beach is family time at its best!!!
The Property was well located and convenient for our use as we walked to the fitness center and indoor pool. Although interior was somewhat dated, the floor plan layout of the unit worked well for seven of us. We always enjoy sea colony visits and time on the beach no matter what the weather is doing. We look forward to another visit this summer.

Family Vacation
We returned for a 2nd year because of the great time we enjoyed the previous year. Again, our experience was outstanding. Everything you need and more
This house was wonderful for a family with young children (or anyone for that matter). Everything you need is there--from beach chairs/umbrellas to kids toys to board games to kitchen/laundry supplies and more. The owner Roy went out of his way to accommodate us and could not have been a more gracious host. He was always accessible and replied within minutes to questions. The property was super convenient--the Sea Colony tram stop was steps from the house. And the extras for little kids--such as bedrails and a gate at the top of the stairs--made the trip extra easy. I look forward to staying here again!

Great place for families!
We had a terrific time at Roy's property. He was responsive and attentive all through the planning process. This property was perfect for our two families, who had small children. This place is really set up for families with young children. The toys, chess set, baby gates, pack n play, beach chairs, etc., were soooo convenient. The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because of the reasons that it was perfect for our family. It's simply a little more lived in than some of the fancier places. The only "feedback" I would provide is that the gas was a little low in the gas range in the kitchen (but yay, gas!), and (probably as a result of the number of renters), kitchen items were a little difficult to find. They were all there but were in counter-intuitive locations - Ha! Anyway, we really enjoyed our time at Sea Colony and at Roy's house. I would definitely rent here again if we return to Sea Colony. Thanks to Roy for being such a gracious host and for allowing us to the opportunity to stay in his home!

Kate, Thanks for your review. I truly appreciate the honest feedback. I set out to make our rental family-centric and truly comfortable for children first and parents next. Your observations are spot on. I am happy to say that we host a great deal of families from March through October and many of the items at the home get a great deal of use. That often leads to some confusion when one family puts something away in a different spot that another family expects. I hope that my focus on providing amenities for kids keep my littlest guests entertained and the beach chairs and margarita machine keep the parents relaxed! Thank you again for your review! Roy

Perfect house and location for a family!
Roy's home is perfect! Perfect location (tram stop right outside the door, walking distance to a pool, and walking distance to a park for little kids). His home was beyond expectations for our family! It had everything we needed plus extra bonuses such as toys, games, tons of movies, pack n play, high chair, bed railings for younger kids, gates for younger kids, all bedding and bath towels were provided. His home had everything needed for the beach too - chairs, umbrella, sand toys. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation and can't wait to come back next year! Roy was easy to communicate with, very nice and always available if needed. All you need is your swimsuits and beach towels! Thanks for sharing your home!
